WHO: @dombaccari WHERE: Frontier Foods, Claret Park
She had to admit, she’d been a pretty shitty roommate lately. She’d been spending most of her time at Benji’s, popping in and out of Kat’s as she pleased- oftentimes raiding the fridge. So in an attempt to do better the brunette had snatched the shopping list from the fridge and taken off to the market. It was the least she could do, after all. However, the trip was proving to be a bit more of a struggle than she’d anticipated- since the brunette's cooking endeavors usually ended up with the fire department being called, she spent much more time ordering in and getting to know waitresses and delivery drivers than the layout of the grocery store. She’d been looking for a specific brand of soy sauce she knew Kat liked, scouring multiple aisles when she finally spotted it... on a top shelf that she definitely couldn’t reach with her 5′3 frame.
“Figures.” She muttered to herself, glancing around the aisle to see if there was anyone who could help her and finding it empty, she decided to climb up onto the bottom shelf and see if the added inches helped but she still fell short. Of course. She’d grabbed a box of something to try and knock it over, but was failing when she heard it. The snicker. “You know,” She turned, still extended on the shelf in an attempt to get the bottle, “You could help me instead of standing there gawking, Dominic.”
“Why is it that any time anyone comes in asking for you, I automatically assume you’re in trouble.” Bailey looked over at the younger man behind the bar with him. “Am I safe to say that’s something I should assume? Because I feel like maybe you get in trouble a bit too often.” It was easy for Bailey to speak his mind with Dom. He was one of those guys that Bailey had taken under his wing, and was there for him whenever he needed but when multiple people -- women -- come into the bar asking for him, and if he’s working, Bailey tends to become a bit skeptical. “Or maybe you just have a good reputation around here with women.”

madison laced her fingers with dominique’s, tugging the woman along behind her. she wore a simple black bikini, always remembering how dom once said she would rather see her in black. her relationship with the older woman was something that she did not expect at all. their playful back and forth, dom constantly being ‘annoyed’ with madison--it turned into something the two of them really enjoyed. overtime madison got to see a side of dom that she didn’t share with just anybody.
madison was a total daddy’s girl. though her father didn’t like her choices in women (or any of her choices for that matter), he couldn’t say no to allowing her to go on vacation with dom. “they put flowers in the pool! how cute!” madison squeezed dominique’s hand with both of hers. her excitement childlike. “c’mon,” madison said to dom, releasing the woman’s hand as she walked down the stairs into the pool. @tittypriestess

Nita was well aware that spending time at the Pit was about as productive as an alcoholic window shopping at a liquor store, but she still found herself at the fighting ring at least once a week. Maybe it was to scope out the members of House Endine that showed up there with some frequency or maybe it was just to prove March wrong: she was capable of choosing her battles. And Nita knew that even in this sanctioned little fight club, she shouldn’t so much as dip her toe in. Today, however, she wasn’t the only one holding back. A familiar face, one she’d caught lurking around the edges of the warehouse before, had ended up beside her, seeming to compete with her for mysterious brooding energy and giving her a real run for her money. “I’m trying to figure out if the owner is glaring at you or me.” The greeting was brusque but as close to friendly as she got, something of an assumed camaraderie with the man who looked like he was both as comfortable and uncomfortable as she was here. “Then again, might just be her face.”

The Watering Hole. It didn’t live up to its legend, and definitely didn’t live up to the reaction of the group of children she’d encountered on her walk there. They’d asked her where she was headed. And when she replied, their eyes widened to almost comical levels. ‘But it’s about to get dark,’ one of them had protested, slightly teary and sniffling. Selwyn had assured them she would be fine, though as she passed, she had the distinct sense that they were staring at her as if saluting a soldier off to war. But when she arrived, the spot was empty, almost peaceful. Mentally exhausted from the surprises that followed her arrival in Asphodel, she took the opportunity to lay out and watch the sunset, savoring the quiet and simplicity. It was almost completely dark when Selwyn heard the rustling of leaves, and with it, faint footsteps. Maybe the children had been right. Soundlessly getting to her feet, she glazed over her surroundings, and once again The Watering Hole was empty, her mirage easily rendering her invisible in the low light. Truthfully, Selwyn wasn’t the top fighter in the Magistrate. Training could only do so much - physical limitations still applied, and the brunette had always been small in stature. But she could hold her own. So when the stranger neared, a swift kick to the back of the knees toppled him to ground. She pinned him to the grass, using her body weight to render him immobile, arm slung across the base of his neck in case he was a biter. It took a second for recognition to set. “Dom?” Still, she didn’t move from her position.
The bathroom door opened like the burst of a bubble, din of the party leaking in before it was promptly shut back out. A ‘plink!’ of a lowered wine bottle saw her shoving across the shower curtain, hooks screeching on metal railing. Like a lead actress on theatre stage revealed from red velvet, Lana sat in the empty bathtub -- fairly large, considering it was a student house, deep and wide, gaping like a whale’s mouth -- with her knees to her chest, right a bruised peach. “Holster your weapons!” she’d already announced, though the realisation that it was Dom who’d wandered in seemed to derail whatever route she was planning to take. A smile stuttered, instead -- then erupted, flower in full bloom. She even laughed. “Oh. Sorry. Didn’t, um... Didn’t mean to ambush you. You can pee, if you want. I’ll close my eyes.” She did just that to demonstrate, then opened them again. Patience wasn’t her strong suit. Abiding rules, either. “Come in, after. I’m playing hide and seek from a guy with the biggest hands. Like, super meaty. Voluptuous. And it’s kinda nice in here, anyway. Like... a womb. Or one of those space pods. Alien shuttle space pods.” @domfm

dom & dev
“Did you say hello to the kids yet?” Dev asked as she fussed over Dom’s suit. She licked at her tongue and smoothed down his eyebrows before plastering a smile as she nodded at parents moving in and out of House Endine. She was thrilled that the house was getting attention and members, but she was much less thrilled about the fact that her brother didn’t seem to share her sentiments. “You should say hi. It’s kind of your job.” She said through her smile.
She waved at a few people she was only mildly familiar with before turning completely to her brother.
“Is that gum? Are you chewing gum?”
