I don’t want to wake up and have you not be here again. I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere.

Bailey came out from the back to restock a couple of bottles as he saw someone sit down at the bar. “Hey.” He looked over at the blonde. “What can I get for you?” He tilted his head a bit as he placed the bottles down on the bar.

It had been a long day and he wasn’t expecting to stay longer than he was supposed to. But yes, Rose hasn’t shown up to her shift. Again. He had pulled strings to keep her on the schedule and it wasn’t fun to see that she was not showing up. Running his hands through his fingers, he looked up at the door when he heard it open. Rose. “You’re late.” He said, sternly. Bailey didn’t like looking bad.

shaw-rowe:
Open Starter:
Shaw was moving some items around, wanting the shop floor to look its best, and catch the eye of that wanting customer.. The floor looked good, at least in his own opinion and so he was ready. Ready to open and allow the steady flow of cash to pass through that door.
He flicked the sign to say ‘open’ as he opened up the Pawn shop for another day of business. It wasn’t a big store, but it was big enough to stock a large number of goods. There was more expensive items in the back, which was behind closed doors. Shaw returned to stand behind his counter, deciding to write out a hand made ‘We’re hiring’ sign. The handmade sign was to give it that local business feel.. Not just some generic corporation sign. He looked up when he heard the door open, “Welcome to The Rowe”
Moving out of his house, Bailey had a couple of nice things that he decided to sell. They weren’t valuable enough to bring back to Josslyn’s. Or well. His new house? It felt weird to think about that, but it was his new home. Grabbing the little knick knacks he had, he went to the local pawn shop. Pullin the door open, the sound of the bell ring caught the owners attention. “Hey my man, uh, I got a couple o’ stuff you might have an interest in.” He said, walking up to the counter to place the box of things he had on it. “A few records, and really nice old lamp. and My favorite. this vintage compass that still works to this day.”
Bailey had been working all night and it had been fairly slow aside from a couple of tables being occupied. The bartender was flipping an empty bottle around when he heard the door open. His face brightened and eyes widened when he saw who came through the door. “Holy shit. I am looking at a ghost from my past.” He said, in disbelief. He had to walk around out of the bar to open his arms and wrap them around the male. “Dude, where have you been?” He asked, pulling back looking at Brad’s face. “It’s been a long time.”

jensen-cordina:
Jensen really did not know much about- well anything and he had just decided on buying a place so he could get of Jaz’s couch and have a place where they both had their own space. Somewhere to call home this new place so far away from where they grew up. After the haunted peach house thing, he was good with whatever Bailey wanted. It’s not like money was an issue for Jensen, although looking at him you would think he was just a broke college student. It’s how he honestly wanted to keep it. Jensen sat up looking at the papers that Bailey pulled out, he honestly needed to be at the actual house before he could make a set decision on the place. “Why are you moving, if you don’t mind me asking?” Jensen questioned. If it wasn’t house related he was good to go ahead and do an actual in real life tour before settling on a price. Bargain it out as adults are supposed to do.
Bailey was at the moment where he just wanted to get the house off of his hands. He really didn’t mind just giving him the keys at the end of this exchange. Bailey’s eyes widened, he hadn’t even thought to mention that. “Oh, no not at all. Uh, the house is in perfect condition. I’m moving in with my girlfriend, and she’s pregnant, so I’m just trying to make sure I can be there as much as possible.” He mentioned, “But there’s nothing wrong with the house. I’m just moving.” He stalled. “I can give you a tour of it, if you’d like.”
quaintlyquynh:
Quynh laughed to herself again when Bailey didn’t want to admit what a terrible job she’s done so far. She nodded listening as she went to the other side of her extra-big-for-no-reason tent. She called out, “Do you think we need more than two people for this?”
He scratched his head, and shrugged. “I don’t think so, but we can try and if we can’t do it, i’ll grab someone from the camp fire.” He said, nodding. Once they got it set up, they grabbed the poles. “Okay, so what we’re going to do is slide the pole through here.” he said, putting the pole through the tent. “so, where are you from?”
In the beginning, Bailey was having a good time camping. It was a different atmosphere than being in a house, and everyone was there so seeing everyone was nice. Once things started getting more hectic, Bailey did his best to stay but ultimately ended up making Josslyn and him leave. He felt bad that they didn’t stay to help, but he really just didn’t want Josslyn in the crossfire of whatever happened. Sitting outside on the patio, he sighed softly. “I’m sorry we had to leave. I just didn’t feel comfortable.” he spoke softly, as he watched the dog sniff around in the yard.

It was easy to get carried away, thinking of the days ahead their future together Bailey and her sipping sweet tea on the front porch as their little girl grows. To many it seemed like a fairytale and she truly was living her own with him. Soon the three of them. Taking a deep breath she licked her bottom lip after their kiss, knowing he was right. Nodding she agreed she had no complications she was aware of and it was her job to keep them both safe. He always knew when she was overthinking and getting ahead of herself, the way she calmed so easily with his touch and voice never growing old. “We will. I’m determined. I think I’m looking forward too much to those s’mores.” she laughed. Handing him the bags she followed, grabbing her clothes for the shower. “You think he can top our excitement?” he chuckled teasing. It was true though, Zack was their biggest supporter of course he’d be rooting for their baby girl. A hand went to her belly rubbing it softly. “Sounds good. I’m going to jump in, meet me in when you’re done.” she said blowing him a kiss and turning to get the water started.

“Well it’s already looking better than the crib.” Josslyn chuckled looking at their tent that Bailey and her had up within minutes. She insisted on helping claiming that she could do it and it wasn’t ‘that hard’. Setting up their bed she zipped up the tent so it wouldn’t allow bugs in while they did some exploring. “How about a swim?” she wrapped her arms around his torso from behind. Kissing his neck, “You deserve it.”
Bailey knew he’d be worried pretty much the entire time when they would go camping, and he knew she’d tell him not worry but now, he wouldn’t stop. He wanted to make sure she was safe in every single scenario. “You can eat as many smores as you want. You deserve it.” He said, squeezing her side a bit. “He probably would. Uncle Z? Definitely.” Nodding, Bailey made her he had everything and headed down towards the car. Josslyn was going to have to drive, and they both knew that, so he made sure everything was clean before heading back into the house.
*time jump*
It wasn’t long until they had set up the tent. Bailey knew what he was doing when it came to camping. It was much easier to him instead of a foreign language like setting up the crib. He let out a laugh as he nodded, his hand on his hips. “Yeah, much better.” He agreed, before looking around at everyone mingling around. They seemed to have gotten to the campground a little later than everyone and Bailey didn’t mind it. He could feel the pressure of Jo’s arms around his waist, as he placed his hands on top of hers. “Swim would be really nice. You wanna go in?” He asked, leaning his head down towards hers.
quaintlyquynh:
“Bailey,” she nodded. She knew a Bailey back in New York. She was one of Quynh closest friends out there… probably the only. Watching his reaction, she tried to keep the laughter and embarrassment to herself. “See, I told you it was that bad,” she laughed out loud. “So, um, lead the way. Where should we start?”
He shook his head as he scratched his chin. “No. no. It’s not that bad.” Maybe it was a bit of a mess, but he wasn’t going to flat out admit that. “Okay, well first, let’s pick it up off the floor and we can try to set it up so it’s standing a bit, and then we can secure it into the dirt.”

The imagines of their little family danced in her mind, chasing a little clone of the two around the antique home, sleepless nights, cheering over first steps, breakfast in the kitchen her and Bailey dancing around being goofy singing to their little girl. The room just like their future held so much potential, and in that moment she felt the happiest she had been each day with him and this baby in her life topping the next. She didn’t know what the hell she did to have this man love her or have this life with him but she wouldn’t trade it for the world. He made it easy. “Good.” she laughed with his assurance, not really worried about their daughters future love life, not just yet anyway. But as she held his shoulders in her hands and smiled her eyes matching as they looked at him she kissed his lips gently, “Okay great. We need this trip, it will be good for us. Some us time, we can relax enjoy nature and friends.” she assured him. As Jo reached for their bags she shook her head, “I had to tell you first. But when we see him at the trip we can tell him. Maybe over a nice s’more or something.” she chuckled. “He’s probably gonna roll his eyes and say another Jo running around god help us all.” he mimicked her friends voice and smirked.
When Bailey let his mind run wild, it ran. He was thinking about her first steps, and then her first teeth, and then her senior prom, and walking her down the aisle at her wedding. Their little girl. He couldn’t stop thinking. He wanted to grow old with Josslyn and see their baby girl grow up to be a wonderful woman like her mother. He kissed her back, with more emotion than he had in awhile. Just the thought of them having a small little peanut in the house made him giddy with excitement. “You need to relax.” he confirmed. “we need to be safe. make sure tons of bug spray, and watch where you’re stepping so you don’t trip.” he said, brushing her blonde hair out of her hair. “we’ll have fun.” he assured her, taking the bags from her so she didn’t have to carry the weight. “He’ll be excited. Maybe more excited than we are.” Bailey grinned at her. “I’m gonna put these in the car, and then we shower? Get all the paint and sawdust off of us. and then we can head out, okay?”
