Ok so he deserved the whack but it didn't stop him from laughing brightly at the woman's irritation, sides beginning to hurt from the humour of it all. So maybe pretending he'd lost his memory of her wasn't the best thing to tease her with but he'd not kept up the charade for too long at the very least and now she was aware that his memory was back, along with his terrible sense of humour in full force. "So vain that you felt the need to be so memorable to me." He continued to jibe, a playful grin on his lips as he watched Ingrid.

Hugo was working on studying some of the baby dragons, he wanted something more quiet and secluded from the others since the attack and everything. He was ready, he convinced himself he had been ready to go back to work, to deal with the fear, to go out with his sister to the festival, but there was still some fear there. He didn’t want to get hurt and he didn’t want to see his family hurt. He turned when he heard a noise behind him. “Please tell me this is you coming to look at the baby dragons too and someone didn’t send you to check on me or anything?”

“Dinosaurs... dragons... pretty much the same thing. Of course you’d go for something like this.” Jaxon stated with a little chuckle ad he admired her choice of costume. “It has history and fascinating creatures in it.” Jaxon held out a drink to the woman. “It looks good on you though. Very cute.”

Declan had text Ingrid to let her know that he was on his way but he had to admit, waiting outside her house for her to come outside, he was a bit nervous.  He knew what his siblings, hell, even his parents if he still lived at home would be like if they knew he was going out on a date and he wasn’t sure who was home in her house right now.  He took another deep breath, before bringing his hand to the door and knocking.

“Are they really going to dance on the table?” Jaxon questioned, handing Ingrid over her drink as he watched some of the party-goers getting really into the spirit of the evening. “You know what...” He began shaking his head a little. “If you can’t beat them, join them. What do you say?” Jaxon encouraged as he hopped up and onto the table, a grin on his lips as he offered a hand out to the woman.

“So I have something to run by you.” Jaxon began when they finally sat down at the table in the coffee shop. He’d finally finished off the academic year and was looking at his next steps. Jaxon always attempted to make the most of his time off and this was one was no different in that respect but he wanted to check in with Ingrid first given their previous discussions. “I know I’d mentioned to you  in the past that I like to travel and you expressed a similar interest. After everything that has happened recently, I feel like it’s even more of a reason to get away for a little while and enjoy life. I know we’d discussed perhaps doing a joint trip but if I read too much into it, feel free to decline. I just wanted to offer this up on the chance that you might be interested. How do you feel about booking some time off work and just... going off to a random destination together? Travelling is always good but I think being able to share it with someone who has a similar passion for it makes it that much more memorable.” Jaxon watched for her reaction, waiting for any hint of discomfort. “There’s no obligation here but I’d love your company if you’re willing.”

 After a moment or two, Jaxon pulled out several envelopes, spreading them out across the table in front of Ingrid. “I’ve written down some places I wanted to go that I’ve looked up. Some we’ve actually talked about together too actually.” He explained, resting his arms in front of him as he leaned in a little. “I have no idea which destination is in which envelope but that’s part of the fun. I thought you could pick one and we’ll just pack a bag and go. My treat for putting up with me.”
