Christine was awoken much earlier than normal as the appointment for her fitting had been moved up. She was rushed through bathing and dressing in the undergarments that had been selected for the style of dress she was to be wearing on her wedding day before being ushered into her parlor, a dressing gown tightly fastened to conceal her modesty while waiting outside of her bedchambers. She attempted to suppress a yawn but the attempt was an utter failure as she was pulled into another yawn a moment later. Her mother entered, escorting the dressmaker inside.

“Here she is!” She beamed, always so excited with anything that dealt with the upcoming wedding. Her mother narrowed her eyes at her daughter’s yawning face but she focused her attention on making sure the dressmaker had what she needed before leaving them alone. She had other matters to attend to in town and would be gone for most of the day. Christine expressed relief in her mother’s departure, her shoulders visibly dropping as her body relaxed. “Shall we beginning, Lady Christine?” The dressmaker asked and Christine rose from her chaise and over towards a small pedestal.

“Actually, I need just one more moment” She moved to the desk and scrawled on a bit of parchment before sealing it with her family’s insignia. She summoned a servant and handed them the parchment. “Will you please deliver this to Doctor Morris?” She asked politely. The servant gave a nod before taking off and she turned back to the dressmaker. “Let us begin”

Hours passed and yet Christine was still standing, draped in her wedding gown, atop a pedestal while the hem was continuously adjusted below. She was given just a few glasses of water but kept from eating anything on her mother’s orders so as not to bloat and cause the dress to have to be let out. Her stomach grumbled painfully and she hoped the dressmaker would be finished soon. She heard the doors open to her parlor and was told that Doctor Morris had arrived at her request. She gave the announcer a nod to have him shown in.

Lady Christine clutched her bed post as her handmaiden worked to tighten and lace up her corset. Once fully dressed she was helped with her hair and the faintest touches of blush and rouge applied to her features.

Heading down towards the dining room she entered in to an animated conversation between her fiance and her father. They had barely noticed her arrival which seemed rather usual when they were this engaged in conversation. Helping herself to a bit of chocolate and some toast with jam, she attempted to listen to the men conversing but her mother was determined to keep her distracted with talk of the wedding. A nice cup of tea finished off her breakfast before she was ushered into the parlor by her mother. The men left the women, returning into her father’s office to continue their talk of estate matters. After some light piano playing and a bit of embroidery to appease her mother while in her presence, her mother was called away to handle matters of the household and finalize some details for the wedding she had been planning.

Christine inhaled deeply, feeling able to breathe now that she was free from the eyes of her family. She wandered down the hall into the small library her father had built upon her insistent requests and perused the books, attempting to find one she had not read yet, a task becoming more and more difficult with each passing day. She finally settled upon a favorite of hers and curled into a window seat, diving into a new world. She lost herself completely and the time flew by too quickly for her to keep track of it. Her mother burst into the library. “There you are! Did you forget about the appointment with the doctor? Hurry up, and leave the book!” She was already back out the door without a second glance to see if Christine was following. It was unnecessary with how obedient she was. Christine set down the book and headed back into the parlor that was connected to her chambers to find a strange man inside. “Are you the doctor?”

Dinner was uneventful as always. Christine ate her meal in silence while the others conversed around her. She had come to expect this as the norm whenever gathered as they had taken to deciding her life for her since she was a child. She thought of this afternoon’s meeting with Charles and it brought a small smile to her face as she sipped some soup. As dinner finished she was informed by Margaret that the carriage had returned and after saying goodnight to her parents and fiance she changed out of her dining gown and into some clothes borrowed from Margaret. The servants said goodnight and Christine blended in to walk home with Margaret as she knew that the house where Charles’ uncle stayed was not much further from there. She knocked twice on the wood paneled door of the house she had only visited a few times in her youth.

Charles and Luna

Luna was Charles first beta and his strongest. The bond the two shared was strong. Their connection was unbreakable that is until the Alpha got wind of and affair Luna was having with a vampire. Hansel a known enemy of Charles. He had to punish her for her betrayal. So he called on a witch, Natasha to curse the she wolf into her wolf form. Luna lives in her wolf form three weeks out of the month. The week of the full moon she is able to shift into a human until the morning after the full moon.

The man will furrow his brow. “Piper?” He muttered looking at the person standing at the door. “My son? Tall, wears black, likes to sulk? Yeah he’s up in his room.” Charles was confused. “I’m sorry, I just wasn’t aware that my son had any friends.”

Piper and his Parents

After the divorce his parents got fifty/fifty custody. Both parents are pretty hard to be around. His mother let the man she was having an affair with move in, seeing them together makes Piper sick. His father, a hybrid and alpha of a wolf pack has turned to drinking and blood binging. Both are pretty unbearable. Piper has took to acting out to get his parents attention. He want as far as almost getting expelled from school.
