Sierra had just dealt with the prissy little bitch from three, a little unnerved and ticked off. I should have slit her throat when I had the chance, she thought so bitterly to herself.
She was still trying to locate either Val or Satine.
However, as she traveled farther south west, she seamlessly stumbled upon a woodsy area, the trees feeling as though they were beginning to close in on her. She was from District 4; there was more ocean and sand than there were any trees.
Suddenly, she heard the sharp snap of a twig coming from some distance behind her. Was she being followed? It would make sense since she was leaving footprints in the snow.
Sierra, trident in hand, quickly ran behind a giant fallen trunk that was caked in both moss and snow.
Hearing the person’s footsteps approach closer and closer, her adrenaline began pumping more and more with each step. For some reason, she was able to tell that it was a male by the heavy trudging footsteps.
Then, finally, peering over the giant trunk, she recognized him almost immediately: it was the boy from one. She had her eye on him ever since training.
“Hey, Alexander, right?” she asked, removing herself from the hidden space. He was one of her: a career.
