There was almost a stutter to Mason's words as he looked at what had happened. When the expression of suspicion fell on him, his hands immediately shot up in an attempt to proclaim his innocence. "Don't give me that look, it wasn't my fault!" He spoke with honest earnest though he wasn't sure they believed him and he couldn't say he blamed them, it was rather... messy.

“Who needs anyone else when we have each other, right Ly?” Iris spoke fondly, nudging the girl lightly with her shoulder as they clinked their glasses together. “I’m looking forward to fresh starts. I’m not sure how long it will last but we can try.” Sometimes she felt like every time she managed to form some sort of individuality, it was swiftly ruined by her parents. Still, she’d keep trying. “Why did we only grab a glass and not the bottle again?”
