With the turn of a key into a knob of a door that wasn’t his, and a following kick to open the door (that wasn’t his), Ducky’d slid inside the dorm as much as he could before the door hit his back and he’d been forced to squirm out from beneath it - the doors were always heavy, in this house, he thought. The first time he’d come to Perkins, they’d stopped him and ask if he were okay, and if he needed help, eyes casting worried glances between them as the two RAs (that werent, thankfully, Dominic) tried to determine whether or not Ducky’d been a student. Then came Mercy - hand on his shoulder, and they both instantly understood. He hadn’t been bothered, afterwards, even when he came and went from Mercy’s dorm with a key that’d, definitely, been copied. “I have food,” Ducky announced, finally getting the door to shut behind him - hands both preoccupied, carrying the bag of Chinese food in his arms like he half-expected it to break if he hadn’t. “They didn’t have any fucking - they ran out of fucking, beef? So I got you pork lo mein, instead.”
