"Not a whole lot, I guess." Grant hesitantly responded, shrugging his shoulders. "Itâs a new thing for me, Iâll tell you that much. You caught me off guard for a second, thatâs all."
"Well, you should own it. I'm sure there's plenty of girls around here who's like a ride on the Grant train." Peyton gave him a smirk before raising her cup at him in a 'cheers' greeting.
Evelyn honestly couldnât recall the last time that she had been this happy, and of course, Lucas was the reason for that. She realized that it was different with him. She didnât treat him the way she treated everyone else and perhaps that was because somehow, she truly cared for him. âI like the sound of that. How about some burgers and fries?â Evelyn suggested, removing one hand from the wheel to place it on top of his own hand that was resting on her knee.
Without hesitation, Lucas laced his fingers through Evelyn's as she grabbed his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I guess it depends on where we're getting the burgers and fries. Don't you dare go to Burger King." He teased, narrowing his eyes playfully. It had been years since he'd felt this happy. Even after his fiancee had passed, he'd never let anyone else in and for some reason, Evelyn had weaseled himself into his life and...he didn't push her away like he had everyone else. It was exhilerating.
"Silence, he is a true artist. Also one of the few Iâve listened to. Yeah, you kid of know everything about everyone. Like the family next door? Theyâve got this plaque on the wall with their kids birthdays and their anniversary, and the dates donât match up. If you know what I mean. I help, Iâll take it over when Pop is too old. We farm a little too. Really? Thatâs depressing, my uncle told me all about a stand up he saw on his rumspringa and I was excited. You eyes would clash with a bonnet â ? How does that even correlate?"
"You listened to Jay-Z? So, surely, you must have listened to Beyonce, right? That's so weird, I'd hate that, actually. Hmm, I'm kind of catching your drift and that sounds oddly creepy and unheard of in your Amish community. Charming, I'm sure. Well, I mean, there's improv clubs which are kind of the same thing so we can go to one of those. Oh, just wait. You'll fall in love with me by the end of the trip."
Stone wasnât going to stand there and argue with her or even listen to her little temper tantrum yet again. The girl was lucky that something about her intrigued him or she would have been long dead just like the others. His guests never made it home alive even when their families paid the ransoms, that was how the police had never managed to get close to catching him. With a soft grunt he turned his back and walked away from her, leaving her to her own devices for the night.
Waiting a couple of hours for Stone to go to bed, Noelle finally took it upon herself to get out of her captivity. She was gifted at being naturally quiet so as she stuffed the key into her pocket, her blue eyes scanned the room. The door would make too much noise, the back door had a screendoor that would slam shut- the bathroom window. Feeling a sense of adrenalaine pump through her, the brunette stealthily made her way into the hall bathroom, closing the door behind her. She could nearly taste the freedom. Sliding open the window, she climbed onto the bathroom sink and swung a leg over and out the window.
"Great, now I have cooties," he pulled a face as he used two fingers to wipe her slobber off of his neck before swiping it back on her own cheek. "Havenât you noticed Iâve sneakily snuck that name onto all of your covers somewhere? Vince loves me." If it would have been easy to pat himself on the back right then, he probably would have done it. "Stripper names are everywhere, itâs all the rage now. Weâre finally a power couple who started our first big trend; youâre welcome." When she slumped into him, his arms instinctively tightened around her. "Come on, letâs go to bed," he pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head before looping his arms under her body and carrying her to the tiny bedroom.
"Vince hates you." She teased, mumbling into his neck. Another roll of the eyes at his comment and Riley could feel herself trying not to laugh but she let it out anyways. "Okay, so what's your stripper name? We all know the fans are gonna wanna know- your Twitter notifications are gonna blow up." A content sigh left her lips as soon as she felt Max kiss the top of her head and start carrying her to the tiny bedroom inside the tour bus. Everyone else had bunks but thankfully, Max and Riley had secured the one room with the giant bed, which also had enough room to put Charlotte's crib next to it. "I'm not tired." She whispered, almost whining at Max as she crawled onto the bed and fell onto the pillows.

He made a clicking noise with his jaw and gave her a thumbs up almost like she was a pal of his playing wingman at the pub. "The Titanic, eh? Man youâve aged well." The back of his head smarted a bit but not enough to make him curb his tongue even a little bit. "Eh, I already know youâre DTF, whatâs the point." Truth was, Max could be devastatingly romantic when he wanted to be, he just liked to save it for special occasions so she didnât get used to it completely; he loved a good surprise. "Wanna bet?" Max waggled his eyebrows at her playfully before leaning in quickly and giving her another raspberry, "you cannot resist me, Rhonda."
Biting down on her lip, Riley tried to supress the giggles forming in the back of her throat as Max attempted to...flirt? Is that what he thought flirting was? Swatting him away from her neck, she ducked under his grip and gave him a sloppy kiss on his own neck. "Will Rhonda Sparklethong ever go away? I swear, I'm not gonna let you give any opinions on album artwork 'cause I really do think you're gonna end up suggesting that name and ruining my life." She teased, tilting her head to the side before leaning back in and peppering kisses all over the boy's face. "You're annoying." She muttered against his neck, sighing and slumping against his chest, finally feeling the exhaustion hit her full force.
   "Youâre cute, Iâm cuteâ didnât you learn anything in chemistry? Itâs clear to me that we should just skip the casual boring talk and get straight to the making out," Only drunk Jayden can sound this endearing and rude at the same time.
Arching an eyebrow, Peyton's green eyes glanced over at Jayden's direction before letting out an exasperated sigh. "You're drunk, Jayden. We're not dating anymore, you can't just come annoy me whenever you feel like it." She shook her head and grabbed his hand, leading him towards the kitchen. "Sober up, will you? You're kind of a mess." She quickly dumped out what was left of her drink from a red solo cup and filled it up with some water from the sink, handing it to him."
"I donât get paid to comfort you." Stone had practically turned grumbling into an art form at this point. "I know," he said simply when she said she was ready, turning slowly on his heel to face her. At the sight of how the pants hung loosely off her slim hips, he bit his tongue. Appraising her for a moment, Stone still thought about the decision, toying with the key in his hand before flipping it to her like a coin. "You remember our deal." Â It wasnât a question.
"You don't get paid, period. You kidanapped me." She spat out, the annoyance and anger evident in her voice. Noelle could feel his eyes examining her once he turned around which just made her skin feel slimy and cold. She was used to people looking at her, she'd been on the stage of beauty pageants most of her life, however, with Stone, it was different. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, she caught the small, gold key and stuffed it into her pockets before giving him a curt nod. "'Course."
When the female heard Isaacâs last words, she immediately bit down on her lip and sighed out âI-Iâm sorry .. so youâre a single dad? Isnât that a bit hard?â she asked the male and stroked back her hair. Raia looked down at Luca and smiled at him âI think I have candy in my bag. May he can have a lollipop?â the female asked the male and smiled at him, while she took her bag, searching fir the lollipopâ
Isaac could read the pity on the girl's face from a mile away and he instinctively winced. "It's fine. Yeah, I am and yeah, a little. B-but I have an older sister and a mom who help me sometimes when I have to go to work but...it's not that bad." He drifted off, not wanting to really talk about Sydney right now, especially to a stranger he'd just met. He felt his heart soften a little when he noticed the blonde giving Luca some attention. "Yeah! Sure. I mean, this is the typical, don't take candy from a stranger but...I trust you."
