Heart thumping painfully, the boy scanned the room he was in. Where was Juris? He was alone, completely alone and somehow just knew that the other boy had left him. The thought of being abandoned never crossed him before but the boy was absolutely terrified, maybe Juris had finally grown tired of Caelum's frailty and decided to leave him. Stifling back a small sob, he tried calling the other's name in hopes of bringing him back. "J-Juris!"

He sat on a park bench, head tilted back as he stared at the sky. The scent of flowers hung in the air and a peaceful smile stole across his face. “Not a bad way to spend a birthday.”
