“Relax—You don’t see me complaining.”
“And that’s still baffling me.”
Continuous grumbles would ensue from the knight who adorned an attire far too insane for the likes of him, although only seeing his apparel with one eye while the other was covered with an eye-patch. A copious amount of tight-as-hell leather that really chafed in all the wrong places, as well as a coat that packed on too much heat. —But it was his own fault for succumbing to the costume idea that his Halloween partner had.
Why she chose pirates he’ll never quite truly understand, but he supposed that didn’t matter.
As for the battle maiden, she adorned more or less the same thing—except no eye-patch and had more fabric upon her frame than actual chapped leather. …Oh—And the captain’s hat with skull and crossbones atop coral summit. Which made the wielder the first-mate, in this instance. To be honest, he felt more like a stooge than anything.
“—Lighten up. It wouldn’t be so uncomfortable if you stopped moving so much." A nonchalant retort given as they came to the door-step of another house-hold. He didn’t say anything—only continued to grumble and scratch at the pony-tail that the other had made for his benefit. Or hers—he wasn’t too sure by this point.
Maybe she just enjoyed seeing him in tight leather.
Or maybe she enjoyed seeing him squirm.
Either way—This is why Halloween wasn’t particularly liked.
