Both dreamers would find themselves waking in a large room that appeared to be made of stone, weathered by dark-green moss--and water, given that there were streams of it impossibly flowing from ceiling-to-floor and back again.
The Drifter quickly picked themself up, surveying their surroundings. They looked at a nearby puddle, noticing that its water flowed upward; their eyes followed the trail to see that one other being existed here. The Guardian of Zone 1 was standing upside-down on the ceiling of the room. To Dedan, it would appear that the Drifter would be on the ceiling. Due to the water, it would be hard to tell exactly who was on the right side of gravity.
The Guardian appeared monstrous to the Drifter--which is to say the Drifter was less frightened by his appearance, and more curious if anything.
Something strange happened as the Drifter tried to transmit his thoughts to his companion bot. Instead of the holographic screen being projected out of his robot, the light poured out of the front of the Drifter’s facemask that covered his mouth. It was aimed up toward Dedan so he could read it better.
