She flushed immediately, face burning with his touch, but didn’t look directly at him. He still found ways to catch her off guard, something no one else had really ever been able to do. It was one of the many things she loved about him. After a few seconds of letting her heart settle back down she smiled and squeezed his with reassurance.

“Yes? Hello. I am Pyrrha Nikos. I reside here at Sanctum as a protege for the headmaster here. I can assist you with whatever you need.”

Her small voice shook slightly; she was still not used to speaking with people. She tried her best to calm her fear though, indiscretions of hospitality would not be tolerated by the headmaster. She struggled to look as professional as a 6 year old could. 

When her master was busy, it was her task to greet visitors and assist students until she was old enough to enroll in classes with other children her age. Until then, she would have to earn her keep and her training.

She beamed down at him, laying against the bench, sweaty and bright eyed with self satisfaction and pride. She felt abuzz with exhilaration from seeing her best friend and partner succeed. She applauded him, giving him her biggest smile from her spotting stance hovering over his face. Her hair cascaded to the side, brushing his shoulder as she enthusiastically clapped for his progress. 

“Very well done, Jaune! You’ve worked tremendously hard!”
