Green-Eyed Monster

Max had never been so jealous in his entire life, which in his opinion, was saying something. As soon as they were out in the hallway, away from the small group of party goers, he stopped short and turned on Faye. “I can’t believe you! Falling all over Rafe like that when I was right there. Offering to kiss Lia! All when you could have just kicked me in the shins and told me I had done something to upset you.” All the drinks he’d taken, especially those last few shots with Rosie, were fueling him. “I still don’t understand why it was such a big deal, anyway. Nowhere to Run

All of Max’s belongings were strewn about the guest room. He ran a hand through his hair, surveying the mess before him. Cleaning did not sound like something he wanted to be do, but at least if he did something with his hands, he wouldn’t feel so useless....and maybe he could stop himself from searching around every corner for a girl who had run out on him after one kiss. Throwing his stuff on to the bed, Max tried to concentrate on the task at hand, but when he looked up at his open door, he could have sworn he saw a familiar figure coming toward it. “Faye?” @faye-salander

Enchanting View

“Shhh, we have to be quiet in the hallways!” Max waved a hand in Faye’s direction, as if he could actually shush her footsteps. It was so late at night that almost all the lights in the castle were out, and he was sure no one besides the protective guards were awake. “I want to show you the place with the best view, but if we get caught before we get there, then we’ll both have to answer way too many questions.” @faye-salander
