So far, no one had questioned Maeve about how to specifically use the Jewels. She figured that it was coming. They wouldn’t sail away without putting her knowledge to the test. For now, though, they seemed to be allowing her some time to assimilate. Unfortunately, that was easier said than done.
Maeve knew next to nothing about working on a ship, let alone being a pirate. Sure, she had read a book or two about how to sail, but the words on the page didn’t do a ship justice. “This is pointless,” Maeve huffed, throwing aside the rope she had been attempting to tie moments ago. “How hard is it to tie a rope?
