Are the werewolves undercover? That's what I'm inferring, but I'm ulimately unsure

Very much so. While the existence of werewolves is the cause of a lot of speculation within Luna Lake, the werewolves themselves, and who they are individually is a secret for the time being.

The pack, of course, know who each other are and various human characters may have their suspicions.

is it utp whether their lycanthropy is hereditary or they were bitten?

I probably should have made note of this in the actual bio points but it slipped my mind at the time - the only current pack member that was bitten is the wary wolf, the other three members are all hereditary lycanthropes.
