marriages are now assigned and partners are chosen by a computer program. each person is matched up and they have to do their best to make the marriage work. earliest a female can be matched is 18 years old and the earliest for a male is 19 years old. every once in awhile, there are those that wish to buck the system, but still there are those that fully believe in the system.

The system works 100 % of the time, that was what they were always told, that their matches were their soulmates and Nova believed them. If someone would ask Nova how she got to this point in her life, she’d have no answer for them. It would surely take her to sit down and think very well of the previous years of her life.
