It goes on for a bit about former president invitations but basically this is a bit of a sticky situation for our guys and for Hybe/BigHit. They need to be in good standing with the acting government. Especially if there is ANY hope for military exemption - which they deserve but are not likely to get under the Yoon administration. Which would mean we lose some or all of them at the end of this year for a minimum of 18 months. So if they are or have been officially asked to perform, I think that Hybe will make that happen. They may not love doing it, but they'll do it, even if they hop on a plane for the BBMAs the next day. I wish I could be more helpful but what I am hearing is that the situation right now is a little bit in flux and kind of a hot issue under the table, if that makes sense. Bang PD flying in last minute for the Grammys was a good move. The company wants to keep BTS out of military service because duh, they make more money that way, and one way to do that is to appease the conservative right administration whether they like it or not. This is Korea, not the US where artists routinely pitch fits and refuse to perform. So I think that if asked they'll do it, and do it exceptionally well. But performing is not the same as endorsement.

@spikeface's reasons to love the fic: This is an ensemble fic, with a Sterek and Sceo double date, but to me, the heart of the fic is Scott and Stiles' friendship, and how their respective partners become integrated into the group. It's got lots of juicy details about what makes everyone tick, but it's also hilarious, in my humble opinion, and a fic I always recommend if someone has had a bad day and needs a pick me up.
