Another yawn erupted from the young female's mouth as she slouched over the counter. On a good day she'd at least have someone here to listen to and keep her company, but alas today she was alone. Her job in the bookstore was simple, too simple. Oh did she wish she could step out of her job and find something better, with a higher pay. She already had to make numerous shifts to pay for everything, if it weren't for small modeling gigs she'd get she'd be out of luck and have to job school just to scrape by. A sigh fell from though lips of her as she stood up straight stretching her arms above her head. Dark hues glanced to the wall clock that teasingly ticked on, it seemed the more the owner of those deep brown pools stared at the circular time keeper, the more it slowed.
The female couldn't resist the urge to pout as she still had another thirty minutes of simply standing there as there was no one currently in the store willing to use their coinage to purchase a book they'd most likely stack in the on growing pile of things they hope to do before the year ends. All while know it was never going to happen, those items were just going to end up laughing in their faces and wallets in the end. A slender hand ran though the tousled locks, moving strands from the female's vision as she did. Oh did she wish she could at least work on something worthwhile as she stood there aimlessly staring off into the mass amount of overpriced paper all while the ticking annoyance went of in her ear, teasing her with each slow tick.
It almost got to the point were she was going to get up and leave, but she needed this, oh did she need this. She didn't have a family to rely on, sure she had found her more than lovely cousin a while back, but she couldn't ask her for anything. She didn't want to, she had her own things to take care of. There was also her own sister, who she hadn't seen nor spoken to for many years, ever since she was the age of six. Why would she ask her for anything ? Any help ? She obviously didn't care enough to help her back then, why would she help her now ? Besides she can take care of herself, no hand out needed, no help. She was her own person, a person who would change the world some day.
With those thoughts in mind, the dark haired beauty smiled to herself, a low chuckle pulling from her chest. The brighten thoughts filled her mind as the clock ticked in the distance.
