Sweater Weather || Open
Lena day started off pretty nicely. She got up and had a wonderful breakfast with her mother and pets. She then was able to get an early present in the form of a make up set form her papa. That’s why today she was going out to by gifts for her friends and family. To was a warmth kind of day even if she was able to bare the cold weather in some shorts. The mall was crowded and it slightly ticked her off. But somethings you couldn’t help.
Sighing she wanted in the star bucks line flipping her phone open and clothes. She was thinking about going out tonight. If she could find someone. If not she was going to work on her school work, which she should’ve been doing but everyone slacked off every once in a while. “Miss.” Someone called and she looked up to see it was her turn. “Sorry.” She mumbled and ordered fast. She didn’t turn to see people’s annoyed gaze and made a bee-line for her best friends favorite store.
Lena pursed her lips and looked around. It was little busy but nothing she couldn’t handle. She was a pro shopper and in these though times that could mean the smallest thing. She started to head towards some skirts when someone knocked into her. She didn’t process what was going on until her coffee flew out of her hands and rolled onto the ground. She stared at the split coffee before looking down at the culprit and then back at her cup.
"The hell?" She muttered and looked around. Some people stopped but most just passed by. Sighing she held out her hand to the person. She was mad but she also wasn’t looking at were she wasn’t going, so she wasn’t going to be to hard on her.
Annoyance filled her, dark orbs glanced up as she took the other's hand, hoping not to slip in the hot coffee mess she created. Sighing she dusted off the back of her leggings, hoping none of the flaming liquid got on her, thats the last thing she needed, coffee stains. A small frown formed on her lips as she urged herself not to blow up on the other, though she wanted to. Why wasn't this person looking ? They should know better, then again getting mad wouldn't solve the soft pain in her rear. The girl hand a hand through her bangs, "Sorry about your drink." She stated flatly, crossing her arms.
Her eyes took in the girl infront of her, she was pretty, too pretty. She looked like one of those girls who could get whatever she wanted. While MInhee had to work her ass off to simply provide for herself. Though her fashion was nice, She looked like she could purchase all the name brands while Minhee had to settle with making her own fashions, though she didn't mind too much. It was fun to make clothing after all, that was what she was going to school for anyways. She shook her head, " Thanks for helping me up." her voice was low as she stuck her hands in the pockets of her jacket.

A yawn fell from those red lips as she moved through the crowd, of course it was the holidays, and it made going shopping for a new pair of leggings impossible as many people were there to see the old fat man himself. Shaking her head at the make believe magic she pushed past another couple finally making her way through 'Santa's workshop', why did her favorite have to be on the other side of this mass anyways ? Poor planning on her part she had to admit as she ran a hand through her dark locks.
The dark haired beauty found herself within store, incredibly relieve she could actually walk without bumping into a small child or extremely stressed parent who simply wanted a hanging picture of her child with the guy who probably got payed less than minimum wage to sit there and take children's requests that he couldn't fill. Rolling her dark orbs she went on with her quest, hoping to find something that she could hopefully use, as her supply of clothing was going down, mainly due to the fact she had torn a hole in her favorite leggings, and the other pair had some how grown too small for the girl, one pair gone she could handle, but two was a whole new situation.
The girl glanced around the store, quickly identifying her target, she began making her way towards the display of many colored leggings. She was almost there when she felt a force against her, cutting her short and sending her to the ground where she sat on her bottom, dazed. Looking in-front of her she noticed that no, she didn't run into a invisible wall, but a person. Rubbing her head she glanced up, a sudden blush covered her cheeks, "Oh gosh, I'm sorry"
[text] minjungggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have something important to tell you!!!!!!
[ Text ] Hayan ! You do ? What is it ? Are you okay ?
She laughed loosely as she walked up to the male on the street a smile played on her glossed lips. "Well look what the cat drug in." Her tone teasing as she ran a hand through her raven hair. She hadn't seen the male in sometime,it was shocking to see him in such a place. Then again he could probably afford to move anywhere, but that was besides the point. " What brings you here, babe ?" She asked as she glanced up him, even with her heels there was still a bit of a difference.
He turned towards the familiar high pitched voice. The last time he heard of this female voice was on a rather boring day around town and then..his apartment. Shaking his head, he pulled the Nikon away from his face with a teasing smile, matching her teasing voice, “Long time no talk to.” He responded, letting his Nikon fall around his neck as he took a small step towards her. “I can follow the girl of my dreams?” Daniel’s smile softened, lifting his Nikon back to his face to take a single shot. “Still beautiful. How did a girl like you end up here though?” Last time they talked he saw that she was of a different class than he was but..still how was she able to come to the city without the money he had.
"I am not that irresponsible, love." He chuckled at the sound of her laughter, "My parents were pretty happy to get me out in the real world, hoping that I would stop stealing my father’s cameras." Shrugging as he extended his arm to the latter, looking around the area. It reminded him of his family home in the city adjacent to Seoul, with the skyscrapers hovering above them and the sounds of traffic, people, the subway..it made him feel at home. "But forgive me, my memory has fogged over what coffee you like. I only remember the sound of your voice and face.." Daniel admitted that his memory wasn’t that great and everything about her was still with him, her voice, face, scent really did haunt him but the other little things that should matter as what her favorite color was or even what coffee she liked left him. And this really did bother him. It was like they had to start fresh and this irritated him.
"So how do you like the real world ?" She asked taking his arm before she began walking with him by her side. Her eyes stayed on him as he spoke to her, the never fading smile stayed on her face as she replied, " Ah, I enjoy anything with peppermint." The girl nodded once, moving her bangs from her face with her free hand. She had always enjoyed things with peppermint, it was a relaxing taste to her so whenever she could she'd get the flavor added. " I seem to have forgotten yours darling" Her memory was pretty well, but she couldn't remember details, just simple things about the time they spent together. " Looks like we'll be rediscovering each other." She stated simply as she looked ahead in though, she really didn't mind that. It sounded fun and refreshing, maybe even slightly scary as there were always things a person didn't want other to know.
She laughed loosely as she walked up to the male on the street a smile played on her glossed lips. "Well look what the cat drug in." Her tone teasing as she ran a hand through her raven hair. "And who would offer you that great deal of a life time, love?" He asked, snapping another photo he would download and proceed to put it through agencies and magazines that requested for his photos. Daniel was rather amazed at the fact that she was doing a lot better with her life than the last time he saw her in his apartment. He would say that he was proud that she was finally able to not lean on others for help but somewhat..deprived. "Yes. the girl that still haunts my dreams since she left my apartment some time ago." he stood erect in thought, "Was it last year? I believe it was last year. So.." he paused again to take a deep breath, putting the cap back over his lens, "You are rather lucky to have me come all the way to the city to find you, Minjung." His eyes scanned her body eyeing the rather tasteful attire she chose for the day. "Would you like to go get coffee?"
" Ahh, just a university in the city, nothing too big. " She stated with a small grin, though she knew the qualification to get into this school were high it was pretty pricey, she didn't get the big deal everyone made about it. It was a school, she went to learn, that was about it. "has it been a year already ? The time has gone by way to fast. " She thought back to that time, honestly that was the best time of her life, many a time she had thought of going back but she stopped herself. She wouldn't depend on anyone any longer. She was her own person after all. Her smile widened as he spoke, the girl let out a small laugh, " I am lucky, I hope you didn't leave too much behind to come find me." She replied, feeling a bit guilty but that feeling was clouded by happiness as she nodded at his offer, "I'd love to get some, I'm pretty sure theres a cafe near by."
She laughed loosely as she walked up to the male on the street a smile played on her glossed lips. "Well look what the cat drug in." Her tone teasing as she ran a hand through her raven hair. "It had been, I was beginning to believe you forgot about me" She replied tilting her had to the side, she'd been wanting to see the lovely male again, but she had no way of finding him. "The girl of your dreams ?" The girl paused giving a small smirk "She must be one lucky girl to have someone like you following them around." Another laugh bubbled from her chest as he took a photo, that was something she liked about him, he always seemed to be behind that camera of his, his passion overrode many things in life. A light blush peaked its way on to her cheeks as she thought of her reply, " I came for schooling, I was able to get a scholarship. " Her reply was simple and true, at first she wasn't thinking of coming into the city, but after the offer dangled in her face she couldn't reject it. Though boarding wasn't offered so she stayed at a nice family's home while she tried to produce the money to live on her own.
♔ Ticking Clock
Another yawn erupted from the young female's mouth as she slouched over the counter. On a good day she'd at least have someone here to listen to and keep her company, but alas today she was alone. Her job in the bookstore was simple, too simple. Oh did she wish she could step out of her job and find something better, with a higher pay. She already had to make numerous shifts to pay for everything, if it weren't for small modeling gigs she'd get she'd be out of luck and have to job school just to scrape by. A sigh fell from though lips of her as she stood up straight stretching her arms above her head. Dark hues glanced to the wall clock that teasingly ticked on, it seemed the more the owner of those deep brown pools stared at the circular time keeper, the more it slowed.
Measuring Tape || MinjungXMia
It wasn’t everyday that Mia Kim attended college classes, what with all the shoots and runaways, but after a few busy weeks with the presentations of all the new F/W 2014 collections, it seemed the business had calmed down a bit and she could have some time for her courses. Mia loved her degree and it was really a shame that she didn’t attend as many classes as other students, although being the eager and hardworking person she was, she had never been under the top ten in any course. However, there was one thing she completely despised about her course, and that was the way too big amount of group projects they had to do. Being the independent person she was, and with the amount of schedules she usually had as model, it was always quite difficult to settle up with someone and work together. Not to mention, her classmates weren’t too fond of her.
When the professor announced that they were to do a project in pairs, she let out a deep sigh, already dreading the future weeks she would have to be moving around to be able to complete her project. Well, at least the project hadn’t caught her in the middle of some busy week. She waited for the teacher to call her name and her partner’s, hoping it would be at least someone she had worked with before. That way, they would already know how things worked with Mia. Her eyes rolled when she heard a name she hadn’t heard before. How nice. She remained on her seat once the class was dismissed: if her partner was interested on working together, she would come to her.
It wasn’t a surprise when a young girl, probably younger than Mia, approached her after a few minutes. She looked at her up and down, trying to remember if she had seen her before in class, but with no results. She kept her poker face as the other smiled and talked to her. “I’m Mia.” She simply said, not bothering with idle talk. She was here to pass her course with flying colours, not to make friends.
Running a hand through her bangs she tried to think of something more to say to the girl as she had only stated her name. The name she had heard before, but she couldn't remember from some talking of her or what, but the name struck a chord. Though she knew it wasn't a good one as she could tell from her expression, there was no going back. A Sigh fell from her glossed lips as she crossed her arms across her chest in a relaxed manner. Her mind went around what she was trying to think of to say due to the fact group actives weren't her thing and she was surely not going to spend time with someone couldn't offer up more of a conversation on the first greeting.
"So Mia." She spoke her name slowly, hoping to get it right, "Look, why don't we plan something out so we can finish this quick then get on our ways." she stated plainly, hoping she wouldn't take it the wrong way, she knew the other girl must have a busy schedule as she often isn't in class, so a group project would set her back. As it did Minjung since she had work to do so that she could remain in school and take this class.
The girl reached into the pocket of her red jacket and pulled out her phone. "Why don't we exchange numbers, so we can work separately while working together." She suggested as she undid her lock screen, checking the time as she did, making sure she would have enough time to discuss before she had to go and get ready for her shift.
stumble on the line || Mia & Minjung
Mia couldn’t help but let out a chuckle when the other complemented her dress. “This? This is not pretty, is just an ordinary piece of cloth.” She said, looking down at her own dress with a grimace. “You should have seen the dress I walked in with, that one was beautiful.” She continued, taking another sip from her drink. She probably should get back to her private booth sometime soon, or Hyeong would probably start to worry about her, but she just wanted to wait a bit more. Although the idea of crying over her dress to Hyeong and having him comfort her didn’t sound bad either.
As she pondered on her choices, the other girl spoke again and Mia directed her a small smile. “Mia, Mia Kim.” She said, noticing the bartender turning back to double check on her at the mention of her name. Well, they shouldn’t be that surprised she was there. “And you are…?” She trailed off, looking expectantly at the girl. Seemed like she had found someone to make her a bit of company during the night.
"I was at first, but then this incredibly rude girl spilled her drink all over my dress and now I have to wear the dress she was wearing before, which is just so common." She said, sounding a tad bit too whiny. She didn’t want to complain too much, but she just needed to let it out with someone, and the girl had asked after all.
Minjung's shoulders pushed her shoulders up in a small shrug. The dress was somewhat plain, but it was better than a lot of the things girls wore tonight. Many wore the same things and these were the times she was glad she had produced her own dress, for once a class had aided her in the real world. A smile played on her lips, "Its nice to meet you Mia, I'm Minjung. Ahn Minjung." She stated smoothly as she took another sip of her drink. 'You have a lovely name by the way."
Her fingers trailed through her loose girls as she listened to the other girl, how tragic. She didn't know what she'd do if someone ruined her dress, it wouldn't end well. After all she had spent a good few weeks on the development of it and the piecing together. " People here are so rude, its unbelievable. " She shook her head letting out a sigh, "I've lost hope in a lot of the human race you know ? Is she going to be giving back your dress ? I'm assuming she's wearing it now ? Or are you going to make her pay for a new one ?" She was awfully curious, not because she liked this like this she was just really into clothing and if this girl was in the market for a new dress she'd have a few suggestions for her, maybe even an Ahn Minjung original. Though she was beginning to get a tad bit ahead of herself she just could help but hope that maybe a dress of her own would be worn on someone else rather than herself.
stumble on the line || Mia & Minjung
Mia walked out of the bathroom with her new dress, a tight black short dress, that, thankfully, had fitted her. It looked slightly longer on her than it did on the other girl, but it wasn’t that much difference anyway. At least the dress went well with the rest of her outfit, and she would have to make sure to get her dress returned sometime soon. The girl hadn’t seemed too apologetic, to be honest, but Mia knew she was Aspen’s cousin, so she could always bother Aspen in case the other girl ignored her. She wished for the girl’s best interest she didn’t, Mia wouldn’t take it very well if she did.
She was definitely not having the best night of her life, but she hoped it would thankfully become better as it progressed. Face set on her usual poker face, she walked to the bar and made a sign to the bartender. Once she had ordered her gintonic, she looked around the place: it was really crowded, most youngsters of Seoul there, and it seemed likely the club was going to become one of the most visited in no time. Well, Mia wished it did, she was getting kind of tired of Vibe, to be honest. Once the drink was placed before her, she took a long sip of it, hoping the drink would calm her nerves and make her forget slightly about the incident.
As she continued drinking, she noticed a girl right next to her who looked strangely familiar, although she was quite sure she didn’t know her. She just remembered her too much of someone, but she couldn’t quite pinpoint who. She looked at her up and down and noticed her beautiful dress. Mourning the loss of her original red dress and slightly enhanced by the alcohol starting to affect her, she actually spoke to the girl first, something quite rare in her. “Nice dress.” She said, directing her a kind of sad smile. She wished she could have a dress like that one and not this cheap and ordinary piece of clothing.
Anger filled her being, she'd never been so upset. Why did things like this ? Lovely finger cupped the glass in-front of her before downing her drink. Though she wasn't much of a drinker she found some sort of pleasure at the burning liquid. Her head began to feel light as she let her worries go. She wasn't drunk, no she was only a bit off of sober, her body was loose and her worries slightly forgotten. Her mind was vaguely aware of the female who took a spot beside her on the bar. It wasn't till she spoke when she looked at the pure vision of beauty that so happened to grace her presence.
A smile pulled at her lips as she waved down the bartender for yet another drink. "Why thank you, you're is pretty as well." She stated smoothly before letting out a low laugh as the bartender placed another drink infront of her. With a small hand she picked it up and took another sip from it, her red lipstick leaving a small print of the clean glass. " Who might you be ?" She asked as she ran a hand through her, now, slightly messy hair. Just about a half an hour ago she was dancing on the dance floor, happy for once to let go when her sister came up to her yet again. After their first conversation that night she had been trying to avoid all contact, but she just couldn't seem to get away.
The girl had debated on leaving, but after the price she payed to get in here she couldn't just leave. Nor would she let her sister spoil her good evening. That is what lead her to the bar, and her current drink consumption, which in the middle turned in the alcoholic variety at about the fourth glass. The girl took another sip, eying the girl, trying to figure out her story without asking many questions, "Having a good time tonight by chance ?"
