concept: thanos sees his actions as population control, no differently to what humans would view culling rabbits and badgers to regulate the ecosystem
just as humans regulate the animal kingdom population by virtue of being the self-proclaimed ‘superior’ species, thanos views himself as 1) superior to others 2) the only one with the courage, ambition and power to do it.
