On one hand Mads could be the artist. He has this serious air about him and he knows what he's doing and what he's talking about. But he's actually pretty nice and gentle when you get to know him. You can catch glimpses of his tattoo sometimes when he wears tank tops in the summer, you think maybe he has some weird scorpion or dragon on his back. And if you ask which it is he'll just smile and shake his head, he won't tell you. He wants you to guess. It's only once you've run out of guesses and are totally exasperated that he'll show you the Xenomorph on his shoulder. His shop plays 80's music for the most part, but there will be other eras of rock and even some newer pop now and then. He's always buying a few flowers from the shop next door-- something for his drawing area, something for reference and is it bad to buy a flower from someone only to give it right back in an attempt at a romantic gesture or should I just try chocolate?
On the other hand-- florist Mads would have this gentleness about him as he arranges the flowers and checks on them. He's careful with them, always playing this nice, calming 80's music in his shop. His arrangements are precise and he has extensive knowledge of the flowers and their meaning. And as sweet as he seems he will not hesitate to make a beautiful bouquet that screams "fuck you" and give it to someone in a passive aggressive gesture. Of course, he's eager to explain to anyone that's interested the different meanings of flowers and their colors, he loves simple conversation. And he's really interested in that tattoo place next door. The artist is incredible, but he wonders if they would be able and willing to put a Xenomorph on his shoulder blade.
