“He wasn’t here. I swear to you.”
He keeps his doors locked after all and after having to wake the redhead up, he had checked to see if anyone had gotten in. The windows were closed. The doors were locked. The vents were secure. There was just no way someone could have gotten in.
Taking another look at the redhead who was on his couch, he let out a small sigh before walking over to the kitchen and flipping on the lights. Taking two cups out of the cupboards, his green eyes peered at Lyrica for a moment, concerned expression set on his face like a statue. It wasn’t often that he would ask what someone’s nightmares were about, but..
“How about you tell me about it after I make us some tea?”
The redhead jumped slightly when he suddenly flicked the lights on, crimson eyes blinking in an attempt to adjust them properly. Slender fingers gripped at the blanket covering her, knuckles turning white as she fought off the wave of fear rolling around inside of her. Her nightmares, they went all the way back to when she was but a child, still living in the palace with her uncle.
Teeth bit down on her lower lip, for once it was bare of its usual vibrancy having cleaned off the excess of makeup before laying down. Such things typically only added to her demonic features and once all that was stripped away, one could see more of the divine blood that flowed through those warm veins. Tea, yes that sounded nice. Maybe it would help to sooth the trembling.
Lyrica hadn’t known Komaeda for very long, even then he had been nice enough to allow her to take residence on his couch for the night. She hadn’t been anywhere near her place and with the incoming storm, she had to get inside somewhere, it was her luck that he had been so willing to accept her into his home like that. “Tea would be nice, thank you.” she hadn’t answered him about explaining the dream to him. She wasn’t even sure what to say. It was a difficult situation, to say the least.
