    “Hey !! Ko, listen !! If you were to, hypothetically, get a gift from someone amazing, what would you want?” The one year anniversary of their engagement wasn’t that long ago and it had just dawned on her that she hadn’t gotten him anything other than the spoken words of an ‘ i love you ’.

    Glacies was far from sentimental, but she enjoyed shopping and these human life events intrigued her to some degree. The only problem was: what did she get someone who apparently had the capability of obtaining whatever they wanted? She wasn’t exactly as crafty as her counterpart and creativity had never been one of her stronger qualities...

 SWEATSHIRTS.  monika  and  komaeda  are  often  found  seen  wearing  each  other’s  clothes  ,  most  OFTEN  sweatshirts  ,  since  monika  wears  everything  that  runs  LARGER  than  her  frame  ,  but  there’s  often  times  where  she  just  runs  rampant  in  her  underwear  and  his  sweatshirt  looking  like  a  giant  fuckin  BABY  .

on  that  note  ,  she  says  i’m  baby  .  like  a  lot  .  she’s  that  bitch  .

LIVING.  outside  of  the  verse  where  they  do  …  you  know  ,  stabby  stab  stab  stab  ,  they  live  in  a   WAREHOUSE  LOFT  that’s  a  lot  like  a  studio  —  although  i  don’t  think  they  have  a  lot  in  the  actual  place  ,  and  it’s  very  minamalistic  without  any  harsh  colors  .

HAIR.  she  luvs  …  running  her  hands  through  his  hair  .  it’s  so  NICE  ,  and  it’s  oddly  soothing  for  her  .

I  LOVE  YOU.  the  first  i  love  you  that  was  said  outside  the  dr2  verse  is  by  him  first  and  she  …  gets  really  flighty  and  doesn’t  know  how  to  react  ,  and  it’s  very  …  her  avoiding  him  before  she  finally  comes  back  a  few  days  later  of  self  loathing  and  pity  that  she  does  this  (  because  at  first  she  didn’t  think  she  deserved  love  ,  but  …  she  still  doesn’t  but  she  loved  komaeda  more  so  )

MOVING.  it’s  no  secret  that  mina  moves  around  a  lot  ,  especially  back  when  she  was  a  teenager  because  of  her  FATHER  ,  so  when  she  finally  leaves  ,  she  doesn’t  …  contact  hikaru  about  it  .  goes  ghost  .  awol  .  she  appears  in  the  news  for  a  couple  of  times  with  her  father  , but  she  only  reaches  out  when  she’s  finally  taken  over  the  company  . 

CUCUMBER  WATER.  it’s  an  inside  joke  that  mina  hates  cucumber  water  .  like  ,  despises  it  .  every  single  time  she  asks  him  for  water  ,  he  hands  her  cucumber  water  just  to  spite  her  .  it’s  tragic  .

FAMILY  DINNER.  once  ,  hikaru  and  mina  faked  being  fiance’d  because  she  broke  up  with  her  original  fiance  for  trying  to  marry  into  her  family  ,  but  she  hadn’t  told  her  mother’s  side  of  the  family  (  who  were  hella  judgemental  of  her  for  getting  engaged  so  fast  )  and  they  tried  to  fake  it  until  halfway  through  her  AUNT  came  in  and  just  ..  “  aye  …  that’s  not  …  allen  …  “

SPENDING  MONEY.  she  literally  …  will  blow  all  her  money  on  hikaru  without  blinking  .  at  all  .  luv  that  for  them  .

PDA.  monika’s  extremely  into  pda  ,  regardless  of  whatever  verse  they’re  in  ,  but  it’s  never  gross  ,  but  very  touchy  feely  ,  and  physical  reassurances  that  she’s  still  there  ,  and  that  he’s  still  there  ---  like  he  might  slip  away  through  her  fingers  .   there  are  times  where  she’ll  cup  his  cheeks  in  her  hands  and  go  on  her  tippy  toes  to  kiss  him  ,  but  it’s  never  like  ,  full  on  ,  high  schoolers  in  the  hallway  eating  each  other’s  faces.

also  with  this  is  just  monika  . . .  constantly  complimenting  him  .  always  .  she  refuses  to  accept  anything  less  than  that  .

DR2.  on  the  island  ,  she  probably  never  tells  him  what  her  ultimate  is  and  he  finds  out  through  the  FINAL  DEATH  ROOM  reward  about  it  and  it’s  not  inherently  a  big  argument  but  it  causes  a  rift  between  the  two  ,  almost  her  avoiding  him  despite  her  feelings  towards  him  . 

uwu  before  chapter  five  monika  knocks  on  his  door  to  finally  apologize  and  it’s  the  middle  of  the  night  and  after  she  apologizes  she  kisses  him  like  she’s  never  going  to  see  him  again  and  even  says  i  love  you  before  returning  back  to  her  own  place  . 

don’t  even  get  me  started  on  what  happens  in  chapter  five  .  it  HONEST  to  god  kills  her  ,  breaks  her  fucking  heart  about  what  happened  to  him  .  it’s  almost  a  heart  wrenching  scream  that  leaves  her  body  when  she  finds  him  dead  and  she  has  to  be  pulled  away  kicking  and  screaming  by  akane  and  she’s  literally  fucking  useless  in  the  trial  and  only  really  used  in  one  of  the  truth  bullets  section  for  “monika’s  account”  where  it  says  that  she  had  seen  komaeda  last  night  and  he  was  acting  weird. 

BEAUTY  PRODUCTS.  monika  has  a  bunch  of  scented  lotions  /  shampoos  (  think  bed  bath  n  body  works  )  that  kind  of  just  takes  over  their  shower  /  bath  and  a  part  of  me  is  inclined  to  say  that  komaeda  might  start  using  some  out  of  convenience  if  he  runs  out  of  his  own  stuff  .

if  she  goes  to  LUSH  to  replenish  some  stuff  ,  she’ll  pick  up  several  bath  bombs  for  him  and  she  says  its  for  him  but  rly  she  just  likes  the  way  it  makes  the  bathroom  smell  LMFAO (  but  she  likes  treating  him  too  !  )

GROSS.  they’re  ...  literally  so  condescending  towards  some  people  it’s  ...  tragic.  they  definitely  have  the  tendency  to  rub  off  on  each  other  on  negative  ways  ,  and  can  look  down  upon  people  especially  away  from  the  face  of  a  crowd  (  in  private  ).  for  nagito  you  get  that  look  of  condescension  esp  w  hajime  and  him  finding  out  he’s  a  reserve  course  studnet  ,  but  with  monika  it’s  an  eerie  flip  ,  where  it  goes  from  sheepish  to  blunt  to  downright  disrespectful  ,  when  bad  mouthing  others  in  front  of  a  character  /  especially  to  komaeda  .

speaking  of  gross  ,  if  they  ever  made  a  murder  plan  ,  it’d  be  over  for  y’all  !

               IT’S  NO  DOUBT  a  dangerous  line  to  skate  :  him  known  to  be  that  sinned  just  almost  murderer  ,  not  much  of  anger  that  he  sparks  up  like  blazing  fire  but  black  cast  iron  ,  her  fingers  BEGGING  for  a  touch  only  to  get  burned   anyways   .   steals  towards  the  darkness  like  a  THIEF  in  the  NIGHT  ,  asking  for  a  knife  at  the  THROAT  after  monokuma’s  announcement  .  (  golden  girl  turned  molten  lava  :  mission  branded  into  her  mind  ,  ANSWERS  .  she  wants  answers  .  )

                 BUT  IT’S  hard  to  speak  when  green  eyes  catch  countenance  she’s  come  to  adore  :  twistedness  and  sacrificial  hope  lamb  he  hopes  to  be  ,  he’s  always  been  MORE  .  more  to  her  .  he  drips  with  something  DISGUSTING  ,  drips  with  the  sins  she’s  committed  in  life  past  ,  but  it  falls  away  from  her  lips  at  the  MERE  sight  of  him  .  god  .  she’s  become  a  martyr  .  he  could  just  as  easily  be  the  one  to  try  and  WRAP  hands  around  her  throat  ,  he’s  shown  no  mercy  towards  this  byakuya  character  ,  she  should  be  no  different  .  she’s  prey  .  easy  to  take  .  IT  ALL  goes  out  the  window  at  the  sight  of  him  .  it’s  over  for  her  .  he  had  his  control  over  her  the  moment  they  stole  glances  at  each  other  on  the  beach  .

     With her arms laced around one of his, Glacies gazed down at the golden band sporting a hefty rock. The price meant nothing to her as she could come up with whatever funds she needed whenever she needed them ( though never usually in a legal way ), but the shine of the gem it hosted did catch her eye.

     Tugging on Nagito’s arm, she pointed a manicured nail at the ring. “Explain to me the customs of your human execution of a Wedding.” Her realm had them, of course, but the traditions were all different. Humans seemed to do it out of “ love “ whereas that was incredibly rare where she was from. Her kind did it more out of survival and necessity to unite noble houses. It also seemed to revolve around the colors of red and white -- among others.
