There was still so much to do. The resort was opening tomorrow to hundreds of families, couples, all looking for a relaxing and exciting vacation. Tashi herself certainly wasn’t feeling relaxed at that moment, running through the halls, inspecting the kitchen, going through the bedrooms to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. If you were anywhere near the empty hallways you would be able to hear just how fast she was moving by the way her heels clicked and clacked against the floor. She wasn’t quitting until she knew they were ready for the grand opening but it was late and she had to admit she was getting exhausted.
As she leaned up against the wall, leaning her head back to take a breather, she could hear the sound of music in the distance. At first, she thought she was hearing things but as she listened closer and started moving towards it, Tashi was sure the music was indeed playing somewhere. She sighed deeply, annoyed that anyone was still awake at this time and would be blasting music at this time and she knew for sure who it must have been. She stormed over to the ballroom where the music was coming from, ready to shut down the group of dancers and their party. As she pushed the doors open, looking like a dictator ready to kill, she wasn’t expecting her expression to soften so quickly. One of the dancers in the middle of the room caught her eye immediately and rather than shouting, making her presence known, Tashi stared, jaw dropped as she failed to find any words.
