@illustratemyillusions Location: Saturn bar Whom: Jamie and Micah

The night had been pretty quiet and then a call came in that a pretty nasty fight had broken out at Saturn bar and that there had been some injuries. Jamie's heart instantly dropped. It had admittedly been a while since he and Micah had talked but they had once been incredibly close and last Jamie had heard he was a bartender there. All he could think about the entire ride to the bar was wondering if Micah had gotten hurt in the fight, hoping he hadn't. From the second he entered the bar Jamie began scanning the chaos for Micah. It didn't take long for his eyes to be drawn to the man and he quickly rushed over to him. "Are you alright? What happened?" Jamie asked almost breathlessly, fighting the urge to reach out and touch the man.

Jamie walked out of the school, heading towards his car. He was holding a pile of drawings he collected from the students that day. As he reached the car and opened the door he placed his stuff inside before hopping in himself and heading home. As he drove along one of the streets he saw a familiar face, slowing down and putting his window down. “Well hey there, what are you doing back in town?”

Jamie had been on his morning walk in order to clear his head before going home to grade tests. His headphones were blasting his favorite song when he rounded the corner, freezing for a moment when he spotted who was up ahead. It was someone he hadn’t seen in years, he honestly thought he’d never see them again. But now they were there and he slowly walked towards them, trying to make sure it was them before he spoke. “Hey...”

jamie sat on the park bench taking in the fresh air, usually he’d be out with addy but she was spending the day at a friends birthday party which was also going to be a sleepover. it wasn’t often he’d get this kind of alone time without having other things he needed to do. he closed his eyes for a moment taking the peacefulness unaware of anything that was really going on around him.

“Look, I’m sorry to say this, but I’m just not into this.” Jamie admitted with a nonchalant shrug. “I don’t really know what you expect me to say other than the truth. I really can’t be bothered lying to you about this sort of thing.”

Jamie had a shift at the strip club and thankfully he had gotten a babysitter for the night mean he could have a good time without worrying about being home too late. He entered through the backdoor and got ready as he usually did before he was sent out to a party room where a bachelorette party was being held and as he walked inside he was taken aback by one of the people he spotted but swallowed the lump that appeared in his throat before walking in further. “I heard you ladies have requested a good time.”

Jamie had taken his daughter to the park with a group of her friends and left her under the supervision of the other parents, aka the mothers group. He sat in the car taking a breather. In between working as a teacher and being a single father he was honestly exhausted, but still happy. As he sat in the car he closed his eyes for a moment before hearing the sound of a collision of sorts, particularly between two people bumping into each other. Quickly he jumped out of his car. “Hey, is everything okay here?”
