Just saying, the amount of fans getting mad at about Netflix adaptation for being different to the original series this season specifically and not last season is a bit telling. Mate it completely departed from the original series last season and I believe they have continued it in a way that fits the storyline they are establishing and the condensed screen time they have to work with. It was always an AU, getting upset about it now tells me Y'all just triggered by the ships, not the actual faithfulness to the original show.
It's a different show. It's an adaptation. It essentially is Fanfic of the original. It always has been. And that's all I have to say.
