Like my sister, in-character & out, I feel that my (multiple, and rather unplanned, at least in length) hiatuses have given me some good introspection. First and foremost, I cannot promise activity; I’m truly sorry about this, but even at my most active, I usually end up just stacking my queue and creating an illusion of my own participation. Though I will be trying to do that regularly, please understand that I may not be a regular poster, even when I want to write. Second... I am here for my friends and family, and my deep love for Gwynevere. Most of all, these are what keep me writing. That doesn’t mean I won’t interact with you, merely that it’s what drags me back; and, if you’re still intent on following me... It’s best to keep that in mind. I will be purging most of my followers to root out inactivity and the like; simply re-follow me again if you please. And that leads us to item three: Three: I will not tolerate abuse or intimidation, theft of writing or stalking of those I care for. Really - that’s it. I hope this doesn’t intimidate you, but also lays down the law, as it will be followed here. With that, I shall be setting to padding my queue - and perhaps we shall meet about the divan later, in a certain moment, dappled by sunlight!..

//Hi, ‘Vere-mun here with the downlow. It’s frightfully tedious stuff, so let me assure you that if you’ve no interest in RPing with me - I understand entirely. I’ve nothing to soapbox or complain about, here; I’m the sort of girl who tends to drop everything and work on their life in quiet. It’s awful, and this was more awful than usual - but so it is. The good news is I’m back with a vengeance; the only truly bad news that my current set-up takes about two-to-three hours to write a two paragraph post. I’m hyperbolizing, but... Well, not by much. It’s running WinME to give you an idea of how ancient we’re talking, and though I want to try rescue-booting Mint to it, it’s held together by such awful hexes that at this point I’m just hoping to have the clear on things by tomorrow. Expect things to oil back into gear, hmn, by the weekend, I should hope..? First! I’ll be unfollowing a lot of people, and probably sticking to one account or so per person, primarily RP-oriented. This means I shall be asking for your assistance in poking and prodding me; but I cannot keep up with all of the posts here; I couldn’t before, and I definitely cannot now. That does NOT mean I want you gone, or will not be staring at you through a window. When I say poke me - please do. I’ve missed a lot of foolish conversations, and perhaps the more serious ones, too - but more on that later. Second! I notice the incredible amount of messages in my instant-message client. I - I’m so sorry..! I shall get to them as quickly as possible! Or not. But if I don’t get to them directly, talk over them at me, please! I probably won’t be on as often; between a move and a new job, I’ve got quite the adaptation to do... However, hmrn-hrmn! I’ll be taking care of that too, so that should something happen to me, well, it won’t be as if I disappear into the ether, ‘least not for those I should not disappoint so. What else, what else... Mmn; I like to start all my responses/posts/everything as drafts and queue them the moment they’re passable, so that even if they’re not perfect I can eventually post them. That’s all speculation, but it makes Gwynevere both a lot more petty then I write her, not that I can’t write her petty, and perhaps more importantly…If she did, why isn’t she there to look after Revolver O? Why did she name her kid Revolver O, why why why why - Why didn’t she go back to Anor Londo to help with… Stuff?I’ve received a few excellent ideas from Lin-mun on how to deal with this, but I’m afraid that with how popular DS3 is, I’m going to have to be flexible. We’ll see. Basically, my main complaint is that for a character with so little actual lore behind her, she falls into the trap of being easily thrown to the metaphorical wolves. And though my heart is quite rotten, I prefer an element of development to go with any wolf-throwing, if you catch my drift.Anything else… Hrmn, I’ve very specific ideas for the Princess Guard. When I get around to writing short stories about them, I can imagine they’ll draw laughs or the like?? { ❂: How has Gwynevere grown or changed from how you first imagined her when creating this blog? }

//Oh, this is a good one - I’ll be honest, I wanted to keep her characterization truly vague when I started writing this. None is going to deny that the Great Gods were up to some peculiar ideals; whether one sees their causes as worthy or vile reflects on the ideals of the reader, I think. So a lot of the lore pages that I’ll probably clean up, some day, when I am not gripped by the Dark Souls of Dark Souls, which is laziness...They were written with that vagueness in mind. I wanted to let the reader draw their own conclusions, treat ‘Vere as they cared to, and I’d reflect that presumption; if they saw in Gwynevere a decadent tyrant, eager to throw away the lives of her people and her family for the chance at safety or happiness, so be it. If they saw a stern, but caring guardian-god, that was fine too.And if they saw a gentle-hearted woman, perhaps far better at being a woman then a great god...Suddenly, in her own selfish manner, Gwynevere overpowered and overruled the previous ideals. She spoke quite clearly, and politely! But firmly - this is how I am, and how I shall be, at least under thy care... Or something like that. Ahahaha!Which is great, because as I mentioned to bun-mun, I love writing her like this, it’s just the best.I still have room to be flexible - I think she’s prone to jealousy and melancholy, perhaps as all sunchildren are. I still want to get use out of that [Yanvere] tag. I probably will someday. But the lovely thing about writing a character, and interacting with people is that they expand your world.Plus, I’m a little pleased with myself I’ve refrained from making obvious and stupid jokes about myself. For the fearsome Princess of Trashlight, it’s a challenge, but for now I’ve managed to limit myself to making an idiot of mineself only in front of that dear magpie...And I regret nothing. Ahahahaha!

//Hmn, that’s a good question - I love so much about playing Gwynevere, but - what the heck, I’m feeling deliriously happy today, so I’ll go on a bit of a tangent if you don’t mind?I’d say I’m not really nearly as good a person as Gwynevere as I am in real-life; haha, not in the ‘heh... kid... be wary of me...’ kind of way, but more - you know, I get by, I’m not really bright or friendly - but, well, I want to be. In one of Velka-mun’s responses, she mentioned the interconnect/disconnect between writing for a character, and the thing that I love most about writing Gwynevere...Well, it’s that I’ve an excuse to be a loving, mostly wonderful person, who just wants to be nice to people, is terribly domestic and can afford to be that without responsibilities or worries - doesn’t need to worry about being her ‘own prince’ as it were. Sure, she’s way more prone to melancholy then I am, but I write that as being a Gwynlet-thang, as it were.There’s a lot of precious people here, and perhaps I overuse that word - but everytime I can make someone laugh, or smile (in-character or out) I just feel fantastic. And even though I’ve been very lax about it, I definitely want to post more recipes and the like..!

I. Stupid jokes, the worse the better. I don’t make them as much as I should here, but I personally love them. What qualifies as a stupid joke? Well, let’s say that my sense of puns is a war crime, and leave it at that.II. Fire. Light. Nothing to do with Dark Souls, this time; really!
