a demon’s plaything

Killian wasn’t sure how long it had been since he’d been taken by the demon witch. The settlement had been overrun, and she’d taken him. Tormented him in countless ways. He could feel his body succumbing, even his mind, no matter how much he struggled to fight against it. Slowly but surely, with each passing day (and it was getting harder to tell the days apart at times, too), Killian Jones could feel himself grow weaker. Grow less resistant to the demon witch. His struggles were becoming harder to bring forth, and there were times when he questioned if it wouldn’t be easier to just give in, to accept this--before he’d stop his thoughts right then, right there, and summon his willpower again to fight.
He shifted on the floor, hearing footsteps coming down the hall, and Killian knew the demon witch was coming. Was on her way to him. His heart pounded a little in his chest, and it was like a chill settled in the air. A chill that seemed to follow the demon wherever she went. Then the door opened, and he lifted his gaze to meet hers, the chains he was bound in at the moment clinking with his movements.
