Bill day. Lorina knew very well that Mr. Gold would come around to businesses to collect payment, but she found herself worried that he might make what little customers she might have uncomfortable or leave entirely! He was quite the intimidating person, he was. And that just simply wouldn’t do, now would it? So it seemed only right that she should lock up shop for a a quick ‘ lunch ’ and deliver the payment to him personally. It wasn’t as if the pawn shop he ran was very far away! Just a few blocks!
She was there in a few short minutes. The ding-ding-ding of the bell at the door rang through the small, cluttered store. “Excuse me?” She called, making sure to quietly shut the door behind her. “Excuse me, Mister Go-- Oh. You’re not Mister Gold.” Her eyes had laid on someone in the place, but he was much too tall to be Mr. Gold. And his hair was different. Still, Lorina came in farther, only to be distracted by a very lovely teapot that was on display. But it was only for a second! Then she turned again. “Sorry-- excuse me, is Mister Gold in today? I’ve come to drop of the mortgage so he wouldn’t have to come by my shop!”
