You know it’s a good thing Amelia can heal fast from injuries such as cuts, bruises, even broken bones to an extent, otherwise she’d be constantly covered in bandages.
Definitely most of them would be from being in the vicinity of Urien’s tantrums. But it’s ok! because she’s indifferent about being hurt anymore thanks to the various tests :) in fact she sees it as the norm for her.
this is your threatening reminder that Rio did break into both the Zaibatsu’s database and G-Corp’s database (their experiments, fighter participant data, e.t.c). G-Corp was more tricky to get into, but she’s managed and got what she needed/wanted from them. She also sometimes hacks into government databases for fun if she’s feeling bored enough.
the girl’s basically a walking database herself, of both useless and useful information. She’s no fool though, Rio is fully aware of how much this puts a target on her back so she keeps herself as anonymous as possible and it helps that she already has the habit to hide herself from the outside world. For her own safety if anything.
Despite claiming to ‘let the past go’, Lee he has a storage unit of old tournament footage, stored for further analysis and potential data to use on the combots.
Which is what he says, basically what he tells himself instead of berating himself as to why he even bothered keeping these. Deep down, there’s a little part of him that still can’t let his time at the Mishima household go, how he couldn’t live up to Heihachi’s unrealistic standards, how he literally was only brought it to be used as a tool to anger his adoptive brother. Even under his cool exterior, still lies that scared little Chaolan filled with rage and anger, enough to match Kazuya’s, towards what was supposed to be a shining light for him as an orphan from the streets turned out to be hell on earth.
So much for rags to riches.
And yet, after that. All of that. He still keeps these tapes and disks of training sessions and tournament footage of Heihachi, himself, and Kazuya. As well as other fighters, but those were actually for the reference. Maybe it’s a reminder, something that like almost everything else he’s buried, has stowed away but can’t will himself to throw out. Too many memories, no matter how painful, they were sentimental. And, even if he’s mellowed out nowadays, still hates that truth about himself.
Rio has a photographic memory, she can never forget what she sees. Her auditory memory, on the other hand, is absolute shit. Both her and Lee discovered this during her japanese lessons where she could remember the characters perfectly, but forget how to pronounce them until its seen visually
And you can bet your dominant hand she's embarrassed about it to this day
Rio’s pet robotic rat, Ratto, was once an organic rat, though thanks to the Mishima Zaibatsu’s animal experimentation, the only things that are left of her original self are her enhanced brain and a portion of her heart. Everything else is synthetic down to the fur. Despite the shortcomings, she still shows behaviors of a regular rat.
The “backpack” on her back is actually a shell, containing fly-like wings. While Ratto can’t really fly, she can hover for a short period of time. The satellite ears were supposed to be a way to contact the Zaibatsu’s Satellite, transferring data through it. Obviously, having escaped there it doesn’t do that.
Ratto’s ability to conduct electricity was actually an addition done by Rio, as a means to protect themselves. Nowadays, this electricity is actually used with Rio’s fighting, trying to mimic the Mishima electricity via metal bits that are decorated on her shoes and gloves.
Rio’s speech pattern heavily depends on who she’s talking to, but no matter how she words it she’ll almost always come across as rude though sometimes it isn’t malicious. It’s purely her playfulness showing and given how she’s in an Edgy Teen phase, expresses it in a shell of sarcasm or carelessness. She does care, she wants to make friends, she’s just BAD at it.
