Danny gave an irritated ‘tch’, pushing him over to sit in the shade also. “Move it over, prick; ah could pick yeh up and throw yeh. In the lake. Sound nice?”
He loved sunny days and all, since they got so few in Halloween Town, but it tended to get irritating the longer he had to work in it without water.
There was an indignant sound as he was pushed
away by the fishman. The gall of the man! Lock shot
a glare at him && scooted away, even brushing his
clothes where Danny touched him.
“Psh. You think because you’re sticking your
mouth on the princess’s you’re all fine && dandy,
hmm? Do anything that pleases you with no con-
sequence.” Apparently, calling him out wasn’t
going to move his fat, scaly butt. “Oh, yes, like
you can lift anything heavier than your head. I’m
heavier than I look, Gills.” Well ... the guy looked like
he’d be a challenge for even Barrel’s buff, but no way
would Lock leave his lounging spot to the likes of him.
