Amin was born to parents that possessed the power to manipulate magic; he is--for a lack of a better term--a pure blood. He was born in Saudi Arabia -- but only his mother is Saudi. His father was born in Jordan, but due to threats of eviction his family was forced to move to Palestine--present-day Israel. Since birth he has experienced cultural influence from several countries in the middle east, directly attributable to the lack of magical blood that exists in the above territories. He first lived in Saudi Arabia, but moved to Qatar, Jordan, Pakistan, Iraq, Turkministan -- then finally, Constantinople. His father delves into government and political business, and Amin would rather not get involved. He has family members that are affiliated with the house of Karkaroff, but they are in no way, shape, or form directly related.
He was urged to attend Durmstrang after his family again transgressed possession; they moved to Russia with friends of theirs--whom of which, had established a neo-Islamic group in the Western territories, where most individuals hailed from Serbia. They were also, magical. The families had sons--and daughters--but the men all attended Durmstrang the following years together.
Amin specializes in mathematics and charms ; incantations and propagation of the supernatural.
As far as electives go, he prefers the care of magical creatures; he owns a hawk by the name of Asad.
He's learned Arabic, Armaic, Farsi, French, German, and Swiss-German. English was last, and quite frankly -- he's the worst at it. Please be patient when speaking to him ; unless you happen to speak another language, feel free to make things a bit easier for him when it comes to understanding--and commerce.
