The Other F Word: A Frozen Drabble

Kristoff grabbed Hans, the thirteenth asshole of the Southern Isles, by the collar and hauled him up from the ground.

"Okay, on your feet, fancy pants."

"Oh! Oh!"

Olaf hopped from one foot to the other and clapped his stick hands together in delight.

"First we had feisty pants," he said, pointing one twig finger at Anna, "And now, we have fancy pants!" he continued, pointing another at Hans.

Hans looked confused, Anna looked mortified, and Kristoff, for only the second time in his entire life, directed Very Bad Thoughts towards something made of snow.

One of my favourite Hansanna fics, this story was published anonymously to livejournal’s disney_kink community as a response to this prompt: 

Hans is genuinely every bit as bad as he is in canon...except for one thing. He really did fall in love with Anna and, as a result, turned his entire near-sociopathic, manipulative, generally diabolical brain towards the task of making Anna happy at any cost. If that means sparing Elsa and not becoming king, so be it. If it means covertly assassinating Elsa's political opponents so Anna isn't worried that her sister might be deposed, fair enough. He manages to keep this from Anna the whole time. Bonus points for: - He really is that adorkable - but still evil.

Despite its being posted to a kink community, there’s nothing sexual going on. It’s still a good read, though! I promise.

Whitevale is not a war-ravenged landscape, fraught with disaster and danger and the occasional decapitation. It is not an overcrowded clinic running low on supplies and competent staff. It is not a beaten-up transport ship. It is not a lot of things.

To Ezekiel, it is a breath of fresh air. An escape.

He takes in the picturesque landscape through grey puffs of air. He takes notice of small pattering of footprints in the snow, prey running, predator chasing. He sees some larger creatures moving through the trees, in and around pools of water. He sees a large pile of snow, almost certainly hiding a large sleeping mammal. Life surrounds, yet he feels comfortably distant from it all. 

He could go back, right now, to the clinics. But Ezekiel thinks that he deserves a minute to breathe. So he unzips his jacket a few inches more, and allows the cold air to soothe his skin.
