the sudden splash of cold water had him gasping as sprawled out on the ground. he laid there for a moment or so, dazed and staring up at the sky as he tried to catch his breath. well, that wasn’t the reaction he was expecting. then again, it wouldn’t have been the first time he was literally swept off his feet.
he coughed, spluttering as he pushed himself up into a sitting position. his usual spiked hair now drenched and practically having melted, dripping down along the sides of his face. instead of appearing irritated or even downright angry, he instead looked amused and, dare he say, impressed.
