Sam didn't like scavenging; she was a teenager, practically the daughter of the leader of THE PRIVATEERS, and yet here she was. With a relative stranger ( admittedly, they had talked a lot, and Beth seemed to like her ) , walking along and popping into any buildings to try and find something of use for Negan.
It was during one of their bouts of silence that she looked up and spoke, words seemingly RANDOM and out of nowhere.
