Joey was a fool. God, he hated himself for crying, but he was. His shoulders were trembling as he tried desperately to keep himself from actually letting out a wailing sob as fat wet tears rolled off his cheeks and splattered across the worn denim of his jeans.
It was late, even for him. God everything hurt, physically and mentally, and he really wished that someone would hold him and comfort him like he was still a child. Who was he kidding, though, he'd never even got that then, and he certainly wasn't going to now.
He was an absolute fool.
