Cerise looked over to Carter with a smile, even though it honestly still hurt her lip to smile, even when they had been kissing, she pushed the pain away long enough to enjoy the tender moment shared. She felt intense emotions and feelings towards Carter and felt like a weight was lifted from her shoulders.
“Lynne will be happy to see us both in there and not fighting or at each others throats for once.” Cerise laughed, nudging him with her shoulder. the redhead walked beside the tall brunette into the house, keeping a tight grip on his hand as she let him lead her out to the front of the house.
