Magic Bullet
School: Evovation
Type: Combat (Offensive)
Range: Mid-long
A somewhat uncommon spell, having its origins in the American southwest in the 1800s.
The basis of the spell was to replace the bullet with a concentrated bolt of magic energy. This could be done one of two ways. The first and most common is focusing ones energy into an empty shell casing, usually with runes etched on to increase the integrity of the casing, allowing for less replacing of the rounds. The second and much more uncommon, was using crystal rounds. These were harder to come by because they had to be fashioned individually because most firearms when they spell was first being seen were not mass produced in the way there today.
While extremely powerful and diverse, it had one major drawback that, in time, caused a great decrease in its use and that was its heightest capability came from firearms that did not eject the round casing. It had it's most usefulness in revolver and revolver type weapons. Though there are few who do still practice such magic, it is no longer a necessary requirement for military personnel as it is very difficult to master and either very expensive or high draining on the body.
She looked at the man who had her mother killed, his had clasped against his stomach, covering a bullet wound as he lay slouched against the wall, still alive, barely.
"So, you've killed your way through here, you kill me and too and then what?" He chuckles what little he can while he still has the breath, "You think that'll just, make it okay, and you'll move on and finish what she started?" He said, looking her right in the eye, smiling in the face of death, fearing not the things he had done that had led to this moment.
"No" She said calmly, as she raised the gun. A deep red glow emerged from the cylinder and spread to her hand. "But you killed my mother, and though this might not be the right thing to do," A deep red glow emerged from the cylinder of the gun and spread through her hand, "it sure as hell make me feel better"
