About: Facing discrimination for being intersex from a very young age, Kainé eventually grew from a shy girl into a course, vulgar woman, trying desperately to prove her humanity and gender identity. The only person who didn’t treat her any differently for her gender was her beloved grandmother, Kali.
But after the fateful day, when a gargantuan Shade named Hook attacked their home and killed her grandmother. Vowing revenge, she suddenly found she had gotten the attention of a Shade named Tyrann. He possessed her, greatly appreciating the darkness and despair and anger in Kainé ‘s heart, granting her power as long as she kept up the killing.
It was yet another reason the villagers would ostracise her, but it didn’t matter. All that mattered to her was that Hook would die...and she would soon join her Grandmother...
But her eventual meeting with Nier and the young Emil would slowly change this mindset, granting her the thing she subconsciously wanted so badly; acceptance. Even against the ticking clock of Tyrann...
Headcanons:
If Kainé could afford it, she would buy better outfits, made of silk and the like. No less skimpy, however, as she’s gotten used to them at this point.
She identifies and sympathises with people who have also been discriminated against unfairly, due to her own experiences.
She has only experienced one-night stands before. She doesn’t live the life or live in an environment that would be conductive for permanent relationships.
