Hearing a voice speak up has her jumping lightly, realizing Gepard has stopped by. Turning to face him, she gives a small smile that's fond as per usual when interacting with one of the most important people in her life. Though while fond, there's a hidden layer of uneasiness. More so, in hope that he didn't hear most of it, at least. "No, no! Not interrupting me at all, Geppie." The guitar in her lap is set aside in a stable position before she turns her attention back to the younger.
"Sorry, didn't realize you would be free this early or I would've been out there to greet you." There's no mention of the acknowledgment of the song, hoping that she can save that conversation for another time. A time when she can handle the guilt of leaving him behind to bear everything she decided against, the guilt of no longer being there at any second to soothe any fears that ran through his blood. She's proud of the man he's become, there's no doubt in that, at least to her. But she can never tell if he's truly happy with his life.
"Anyways. Come on. I can make some tea if you want, you can catch me up about your day. Not too often you get relax, after all, right? Or would you rather waste some time with a distraction of helping on a project while we talk?"
