Caelus chuckles, leaning in to return the kiss. "You seem pretty happy today. Been having a good day, I take it?" Stealing another kiss, he hums softly. "Missed you while I was gone."

Caelus can't help but notice the way Kaveh freezes and bites his lip. Luckily, any of the others near them seem too focused on details and deciding how to get the materials. "Kaveh? You okay? You seem a bit red.." Partially out of concern, though Caelus would be lying if he said part of it wasn't a tease either.
"Guess I'm better than you, according to these search results, Dan Heng." Yes, he's proud, thank you.

A curious snoot is nudged into Caelus's space to see what he's eating. Mimi won't take without asking of course but whatever it is smells sooooo good. She gives pleading eyes to the trailblazer...maybe she will get lucky and get a piece!
Caelus turns to look at the lion, giving a soft smile with a light chuckle. He knows that knowing the General, Mimi is far more than spoiled. But, she was always so good and besides, it wasn't like he could spoil her all the time! Surely this time wouldn't hurt, right? So he's sorting a small bit of his food to the side so she can have some.
"Just don't tell anyone. It'll be our secret." He jokes, knowing she can't talk anyways. Though while she's here, she's getting a few head scritches just for being a good girl! She deserves them!
"N-nuh-uh, not--." But she's yawning, just holding onto that finger as she closes her eyes. Even as she's fighting it so obviously. "Want Papa!"
There's a hum as he gently starts to rock her like he had been shown before in the past. "How about we go take a nap? Papa can lay down with you, how does that sound? Papa will still be here when you wake up, and we can even play when you get up if you want." Ah yes, the stubbornness that they both had. But at least she didn't have the ability to fight it as much as they did. Yet.
The toddler is giggling as she's picked up. Taking one of his fingers and absently nipping at it. "Papa~. Went-- out with Mama! Mhm!" How eagerly she nods, too. Grinning up at him before she plops her head against his chest.
There's an internal hiss at the nip, but he knows not to yank his finger away. She didn't mean it necessarily, and he knows that there is a gentle way to teach her not to do that.. he's just gotta learn it first. "I bet you had a lot of fun." He chuckles, moving a finger to playfully boop the tip of her nose. "Papa's princess tired out?" He asks at the plop, tilting his head.
"Papa!" There's a very tiny pink haired girl running to tug on Caelus' pant leg. Her little hands reaching up as she wants to be carried, but she hasn't quite yet learned the word for it. She merely giggles and grins with a mouth full of sharp teeth. "Papa~! Papa!"
Caelus turns at the voice before glancing down, smiling as he scoops her up without a word. "Hey there, papa's little princess." He presses a kiss to her forehead before gently rubbing his forehead against hers and settling her on his hip. "Missed me, huh? Have you been having fun today?" The sharp teeth are still taking getting used to, but at least it isn't anything surprising completely.

"Aeons, have you been awake the entire night?"
He glanced at the time, noting the daylight coming through into the room. "I suppose so.." a hand moved to hold his face, rubbing at his eyes. "I hadn't intended to but I guess I just had trouble falling asleep. Felt too on edge, I suppose." After the kind of stuff all of them had been through, it wasn't like it wasn't reasonable. "I should be fine though. I'll just try to fit in a nap later.. or just keep energy drinks on hand at all times. One of the two."
