sky meet sea
Micaiah often came back to Leicester territory in her dreams, but not like this. The seaside villa that greets them seems like the magic of a fairy tale rather than the dark atmospheric nightmares she's used to when it comes to thinking of the east of Fódlan. It is jarring, true, but perhaps she needs it.
She's certainly relieved that it is under kinder circumstances she and Mist have been reunited. Micaiah had noted quite a few students who had applied to care for the manner in their classmates stead as he travelled the land but many did not seem to take the job seriously.
Mist, for the little Micaiah knew her, most certainly took her duties seriously. Still. Since they were here together she saw little point in rotating around each other in formalities when they could be truly exchanging ideas. This was a rare opportunity to really get to know the other woman and Micaiah wanted to take it, nerves or no
"It's all a bit much in there isn't it?" Micaiah said, gesturing back to the grand estate after they'd finished patrolling. "I think before going back in I would like to take a walk along the shoreline. Will you join me?"
