Drink Up!
(( @gracefulfinesse continued from here ))
He’s heard of the famous Moo Moo Milk that comes from Akala Island in Alola, It’s amazing, him having been lucky to try it a while ago so this opportunity was much too good to pass up.
“Is there a reason why you haven’t advertised to coordinators yet?” he asks. Drew keeps his tone even, though it’s meant to be slightly teasing. He knows the very reason why - coordinators are very specific when it comes to their pokéblock or poffin recipes. And the fact that contests are not a thing in Alola.
The poor guy probably doesn’t even know what contests are.
But with the reviews he’s read online about how its not only delicious but makes people glow after eating it, it would be an absolute hit to the coordinating world.
Kiawe simply looked to the green-haired stranger in a way that could only be described as perplexed. Certainly, he was glad for him and his family that he was gaining a new customer for their reputed and certainly acclaimed - and well-deserved it was - Moo Moo Milk.
He raised an eyebrow, and gave his reply, his voice lightly tense, “I’m not familiar with the discipline, especially since it isn’t present in Alola. On top of that, while we’re perhaps one of the most successful farms and distrtibutors in Alola for our milk, it’s still a fairly... local business...” he patted this Charizard on the shoulder as he stood beside him.
Kiawe shook his head, “I don’t see how you could think that might’ve occurred to me at all if you had considered all the factors in your question.”
There was a critical look on Kiawe’s face. The man didn’t take well to silly questions like this, especially when it came to his and his family’s livelihood.
