It took me *years* to realize I have an accent, by that I mean like- it took me till I was like 12 to realize my grandma pronounced alot of things more "harshly", like harder K's & just certain sounds being a bit elongated or generally tweaked.

Then, it took me realizing that to think of the sounds I make when I say stuff, so I brought this up to my mom & she always refers to it as the "village accent" which makes sence, my grandmas from a small native village in middle-of-nowhere Alaska.

In my case, it honestly isn't that noticeable, but I definitely hear a bit of my grandma when I talk. I just think that's cool :]

im confused about things like fans of K-Pop who only speak english & dont really understand what their listening to w/out english translation in front of them-
