pluribus is so brilliant because you have a white American berating the immune humans, who all come from collectivistic communities, for wanting to live with their families in a world with no crime or prejudice, at the price of joining the hivemind, making her out to be this white savior who's insistant on keeping her individuality and rescuing humanity with no plan no skills no leads, and later on the show reveals she was forced into conversion therapy and sees the hivemind as nothing more than an extension of the counsellors who tried stripping her of her identity and forced her to conform......... painting her American individualism and need to be heroic while having no means of actually saving anybody as stupid and then going well no. hypercollectivism isn't the way to go either. getting the audience to empathise with her without demonising the brown characters for WANTING to live in a collective society. big fat kiss for vince gilligan
