The Sui dynasty, Tang dynasty, Liao dynasty, Jin dynasty, Yuan dynasty and Qing dynasty were ruled by different ethnic groups, not Han Chinese.

The Chinese continent has a long history, but it is not the history of China as a country.

It would be strange if the United States of America called the history of native Indians "4,000 years of American history", wouldn't it?

Similarly, there is no such thing as "4000 years of Chinese history".
