[[ this one i can't quite answer IC, so:

alyssums are the flower i've chosen to represent lys! it means “worth beyond beauty” or “sweetness of soul”, and as viera are seen as quite beautiful young adults, i think it suits. white flowers also stand for elegance, which alyssum often comes off as. ]]

🐇 "I'm rather partial to winter, myself. ...I once lived in a mountain range- Most of Eorzea doesn't quite get as cold as I'm used to, but... When the snow begins to fall, I'm reminded of when I was younger. At home. ...It feels like an awful long time ago, now.

🐇 "Perhaps it's obvious from my name, but- Alyssum was one of the first wonders I discovered of the world outside the forest. ...I haven't seen any of those in quite some time, though..."

🐇 "I'm quite partial to the greens used by the Rogues' Guild. The dark shades remind me of the forests we lived in on the mountain tops. ...Most of what I own seems to be in some shade of green or red."

🌸 fun facts about alyssum 🌸

she works at the gold saucer part time on top of working at the bismarck (this may be a way of justifying the amount of time i spend there)

she's formed a free company with her two friends (also WoLs) and works to pay for a house for the three of them

'thumper' is a nickname given to her by jacke, in the same vein as v'kebbe being called 'the stray' and perimu being called 'underfoot'- nicknamed this way due to her habit of stomping her paw when frustrated

though her technical class is ninja, she's a rogue first and foremost (though she does help the ninjas out when necessary)

she acts very motherly towards alphinaud

she has a soft spot for children and animals in general, and will gladly help others babysit or look after small animals

her chocobo is named 'tuberose' and is a huge white chocobo who has quite a feisty temper

her 'tattoos' are dyed black fur that she regularly dyes with the rest of the rogues guild as a family activity of sorts
