           “i’m not even sure if this is a stupid question or not but are there such things as cat walkers? and where do i apply to be one?” if it were a joke, no one would’ve been able to tell-- her expression was rather serious, even with how she had so sweetly asked. maddie almost sounded childish in tone, somewhat naive and silly, but she meant it wholeheartedly. if all else failed, whether with youtube or school, she’d at least have something to fall back on and at least it would be something she actually wanted to do.

            a sniff here, a sniff there-- anyone would’ve sworn the girl was crying her eyes out (probably about a cat) but that wasn’t what was going on. maddie was down with a really bad cold. after all, it was already winter (and she was dumb enough to go out in only 2 thin layers of clothing because “oh, it’s probably not THAT cold”). with a swift movement of her head to defend herself once more, the girl let out a cough before proceeding to shout. “i am NOT crying! it’s called a cold!”

              “i know you think i hate every fibre of your being,” maddie starts. the expression she wears is enough to show that she’s not quite content with how the male thinks of her. she would never take pride in being hateful of anyone because that’s just not who she was. “but i don’t. i don’t hate you at all.”

          “okay, this is super DUMB--” maddie’s barely even looking at the girl while she talks to her camera, obviously vlogging her life away. “but while i was taking this video, i seemed to have lost one of my cats.” when she finally looks at the other, her eyes grow wide. “oh. ah... i’m sorry. you must be busy! nevermind! i’ll ask someone else.” cue the bowing.

         “okay, hear me out--” the girl started, trying to contain her excitement. “i know you’re a dog person or at least i think you are... anyway! okay so this isn’t a DOG person kinda place but there are lots of cute, furry animals. how ‘bout it, huh?” she meant a cat cafe. obviously.
