the temperatures outside were moderate and the illuminating sun slightly peaked out from the clouds that concealed it. yuu had no plans of experiencing any of that until her step-dad appeared, trying to find out why the shower isn’t working. she offered help but his dad refuses and ask her to not disturb him for a while; she let out a sigh and left, leaving the door open.

after a bit of aimless wandering, she came across a tiny park and decided to take a seat next to a resting cat on a bench. she closed her eyes and leaned back, setting her feet out straight, not realizing there was someone passing by.

                                       ” Whoops? ”

it wasn’t particularly late; in fact, it was rather early, judging from the dim light escaping the dust covering the small windows of the isolated cafe. and yet there she was, her messy sandy blonde hair falling across her features as she leaned on the table, resting her chin on her palm, her slender fingers along her jawline.

a silent mumble escaped her lips. she had been working 3 days straight, as resting hadn’t really seemed particularly necessary just yet, considering the amount of work she still needed to do. even so, she considered sleeping for a couple hours, for the sole purpose of delaying her unavoidable fate, as she’d need to eventually exit her most adored laptop and find herself some nutrients until some boisterous people, eventually finds their way inside the cafe.

she can’t believe that it’s been months since the last time she stepped foot on this particular clinic. the smell of cheap air freshener along the hallways, the almost—if it wasn’t for the nurses and secretaries chattering—deafening silence that surrounded it and the comfortable couches while waiting they wait for their session to begin. it didn’t changed at all, the sandy blonde giant thought so, lips pursed into a line as she silently sits on the corner. in all honesty, she didn’t want to be here, receiving volleyball balls are much more of a therapy for her than talking to a psychiatrist or a psychologist. week after week however, she would go there ( due to her step-father’s stubborn attitude ) and every week, she would see this tall blonde guy with the same black backpack waiting for his said appointment while reading a book.

                                                                                                      “ See you next week. “

words, she never meant to say out loud slipped past her soft pink lips and it was embarrassing but she tries to shake it off. “ I mean, I see you every time here and my therapist said that I should socialize more? “
