for several blocks nadia could've sworn she'd felt eyes staring down the back of her neck. the more she tried to speed up her pace it seemed to not be able to get shaken off. so, when some fruits fell down on the ground behind her she took the opportunity to run into an abandoned alleyway. nadia then tried to hide herself behind a large dumpster. it wasn't exactly ideal, but she just rolled her eyes and sighed.

years have passed and the young upir has managed to find herself back in hemlock grove. she knew she had been born here and that most of her family had been as well. however, what had been on her mind was infiltrating the godfrey tower. it had been easy to just waltz in the huge front doors, but it took some sneaky tactics to reach the top floor. yet once she reached the office of who she believed to be the boss she saw it was empty. not one to feel defeated she decided to walk in and take a seat on the chair behind the desk. she could wait as long as needed.

there had been some kind of draw to this place, to him especially. she hadn't been the first to say a word. instead nadia found herself eyeing him up and down studying him. but once he spoke the first word something clicked in her head. she knew his voice and then suddenly the memories flashed through her mind. "you're roman, aren't you?"

fuck, nadia thought to herself as she swiftly turned to face the other. fuck, fuck, fuck, she cursed several more times as the reality of how much this stranger looked like her hit her. the upir stood as tall as she could, her fists clenched as she prepared to defend herself if need be. "who the hell are you and why the hell do we look so much alike? i know for a fact i was an only child," she professed, her eyes glowing a bit brighter of a blue. she wouldn't use her glare just yet.
